a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

1996 Honda Goldwing 1500 low amperage on volt guage reading 10 volts battery went dead inroute home last nite ok removed alternator ok it appears to have external regulator on outside rear of caseing

When one cell in the battery fails, (no fluid, or just worn out or a shortage) the voltage will drop 2 volt. when the cell is complete dry, you have 0 volt left, because nothing can come out. So also check the battery.

Amana AGDS902SS, need the ovenpressure regulator

Pressure regulators can be found at or at . you just need to know the type of gas (LP or Natural) and the size of inlet and outlet.
Note, make sure it is a pressure regulators problem. this is not a common problem

How to change themel cupler

If it is a thermocouple placed in the flame of the pilot light, and attached to the gas pressure regulator, it will be the same type of material; type 'K."
There are only a few different hex-type fitting dimensions but the length of the connecting tubing (copper with enclosed wire) can vary a good bit from one unit to another so the length from the active tip to the connector is the only real critical thing you need to know.
When mounting the new part, do not kink the copper tube unnecessarily but bend it in a smooth curve. Once you have access to the regulator, you will see what size wrench you need (fairly small) to remove and reinstall the new part.

MTD yard Machine lawnmower,17hp Briggs And Stratton engine. Runs for about 15 or 20 minutes and stalls. It will not start again until I recharge the battery over night. Then only runs again for 15 or 20...

yes it could be

check your battery 1st , then check the stator a/c output

• 10 or 16 Amps DC regulated for charging
• Two black leads (C) from stator
• Yellow connector (D) with two pin
• Two yellow leads (E) to regulator-rectifier
• One red lead (B) from regulator-rectifier
to red connector output lead (A)
• 10 and 16 Amp systems use the same
stator, color coding and regulator-rectifier
• Alternator output is determined by the
flywheel alternator magnet size

The stator and regulator-rectifier are the same
for the 10 and 16 Amp systems. The system
output is determined by the flywheel magnet
Test Alternator Output
1. Temporarily disconnect stator wire
harness from the regulator-rectifier.
2. Insert RED test lead (A, Figure 28) into the
V ω receptacle in the meter.
3. Insert BLACK test lead (B) into COM
4. Rotate selector to AC Volts position.
5. Insert RED (A) and BLACK (B) test lead
probes into output terminals (D & E) in
YELLOW connector (C). (Test clip leads
may be attached to either terminal).
6. With the engine running at 3600 rpm, the
output should be no less than:
• 20 volts - 10 Amp System
• 30 volts - 16 Amp System
7. If No or Low output is found, check for
bare wires or other defects. If wiring
defects are not found, replace the stator.
voltage depending on alternator type and magnet size

then check the regulator / rectifier , make sure it is grounded properly

make sure battery earth lead is good

i suspect loss of bat voltage is letting the afterfire solenoid close off the main jet

let me know model and type codes off engine & i will try help further

Hi what size and kind of regulator do i need for my hayward propane H250 pool heater i have 2 100 lbs tanks

This is something your gas company should figure and supply for libality reasons. they will be responseable for any damage done from improper pressure. They will need to figure along with heater size and tank size, pipe size and run of pipe along with other varebeles like number and type of fittings on line and other appliences on the feed.

Voltage regulator

One of the most common type is the 3 pin - 1 amp voltage regulators in a TO-220 package, they are the 78xx positive regulators and the 79xx negative regulators. The xx denoted the voltage output of the regulator.
I don't know what type of regulator is used in the APN 6003, if you can obtain a circuit diagram it might help you.

Insufficient gas for cottage during winter

Sure, there are lots of regulators, but one commonly used for gas grills should be fine. (maybe the brother in law used a step down regulator for natural gas, which won't work for you) I don't know your location, but another factor might be your outdoor temperature. If it is very cold, the liquid petroleum (LP) in your tank will not vaporize fast enough to satisfy demand, regardless of regulator size. A full tank in a warmer location would help immensely, but it is not real wise to have the tank indoors.

This is usualy because there is either a high voltage regulation fault, or a main power supply regulation fault.

There are many things that can cause this. When the high voltage goes too far down, the raster will enlarge. High voltage regulation can be caused by faulty components in the feedback sensing, or in the high voltage multiplier, or in the flyback windings itself.

A quick way to sort of know if the high voltage is regulating is to wind the brightness and contrast from one extreme to another and observe the raster size. If the raster is changing size with the brightness on the screen, the regulation is not working well. In some of the low cost sets there will be about a 2 to 5% raster size shift in this case. The high end sets will have a near 0% shift in the raster size. A size change of about 2% is acceptable for most sets. If the CRT is weak, this test will not work well, because a weak CRT will not properly load.

If the main power supply is operating slightly over voltage, the raster size will increase. Usualy, the brightness will be a little on the high side when the supply is too high. Voltage regulation faults can be from warn components in the voltage regulator area, or in the feedback control.

This should be looked after by an experienced TV service tech. This type of fault can be involved.
