Question about Motorsports
This has been an intermitent fault for 2 years but would come good if left for 4-5 hours. Now its a permanent condition.
Alot of times it can be a simple gas filter situation. The initial burst of fuel might just pass thru the filter. But after that burst it swells back up. As well check your fuel injectors, Fuel lines for gas leakage. Alot of the hoses rot out and gas leaks out. As well fuel pump issues. I attach a fuel gauge off my rails for this reason.

Sounds like a fuel delivery system problem. trouble shoot all components of the system, starting with the fuel pump.

Check fuel pump pressure, fuel filter for clogged, fuel line if purged, fuel tank valve which is attached to the chassis above the fuel tank.
