I am not a printer expert, but since none of them have jumped on your question, I will try to help.
I had a similar problem with my Dell awhile back and found out it was a problem with the paper.
First, try printing a picture using plain copy paper and see if it has the green hue.
If not I would think the printer and program are ok.
Make sure you are printing on the glossy side of the photo paper(some of it is hard to tell the difference) and that your printer preferences are set for the correct type of paper you are using.
Please reply to let me know what you find.
I need to know something first. If you print a test page, an internal page, a confirmation page, menu page, etc, does the machine give you a green hue ? Have you tried to shut the printer down and allow it to reboot? There is tec color correction on your print driver properties. You can try adjustments with that. But first let me know if the internal prints are ok , then lets go from there.
photo r300 printer is printing coulor photos ok but when i use adobe 7 i turn my pictures into black and white and then i hilight some coulor into the photos good prints but now the prints have a green hue to them ?
Occasionally printer cartirdges can clog and become unusable after refilling them several times. Also, if a printer cartridge has been "dry" for a long period it may experience the same problem. Your best bet is to buy replacement cartridges for any colours that show problems on the test page. If there is a blue & green hue to your printing that would suggest that the magenta is not printing and should be replaced.
Just select your operating system and then download the North America/Western Europe full software solution under software. This should allow you to align your cartiges. Just follow the instructions when aligning. Hope this helps you out!
