Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Just got a new Onkyo cs-445 cd receiver for Christmas as a gift and after setting up, everything worked (radio and iPod dock) but the cd player is not recognizing, reading or playing any audio cd's (new originals or copied cd's). Can anyone advise on how to get the cd player working. I cannot return the product due to high shipping cost and do not have purchase receipt.

Player can be made to work without remote. But it is a pain.
You need to press pause then play in the right combination.and you can get both DVDs and Blu Ray disks to work. I bought a store floor model that did not have a remote. I went through the same problem when I would lose the remote for the HD-DVD player. My four year old daughter knows this trick pause pause play for DVDs and pause play pause play for blu
