Well first thing, they are measured mm. You will need to get the length and thickness in mm. You can find them on Ebay or several other outlets. Just google CCFL suppliers and you will find several. Expect to pay around $15/bulb. I'm sure I have those bulbs in stock as I recycle a lot of sets. I could make you a good deal on them but would have to find a shipping box.

SOURCE: Visio 42 in Plasma turns on but no picture

Just had the same problem and determined it was the primary power supply board. The TV has a primary and secondary power supply. The secondary controls the on/off and audio. The primary controls the picture. If this is shot, you will not get a picture but will hear audio. I had to call Vizio and have them send me a new power supply board ($150 + SH). Not too hard to install yourself. Hpe this helps!

SOURCE: How to replace lcd tv bulb

Most of those models you replaced them through the front. The lower front panel pulls off. Some models have a knob that must be loosen on the back of the set at each end. Once the front panel is taken off the Lamp door is easily accessed. The new Lamp from Sony will come with the proper Wrench to remove and reinstall lamp.
Hope this helps,

SOURCE: 42 inch lcd tv.its a rca. the screen is damaged.

There is NO picture tube on an LCD set. If the screen is damaged it will make more sense to buy a new set rather than attempt a repair.

How much does picture tube for 42 inch flat screen Sanyo TV cost

There is no picture tube in a modern flat screen TV.
And unless it's physically broken, it's usually something else that has failed and not the screen.
A picture tube is a CRT (cathode ray tube) that sends electrons from the back to the front to light up different color phosphorous dots.
A modern flat screen TV on the other hand is LCD (liquid crystal display) that turns on and off to allow backlighting through multi colored filters. (LED TV also uses a LCD screen, the only difference is the backlighting is LED and not fluorescent lamps.)

Visio 1080p screen went light

Our Visio 42" flat screen TV did the same thing. It didn't happen that often but sometimes it would go darker or the sound would go off until I changed the channel or turned TV Off then back On. I contacted Visio through my warranty and they sent me a flash drive to install info on my TV. Did not fix the problems. A year later before warranty ended I contacted Visio again. They sent a huge box for me to pack my TV in to send to the warehouse where they fix everything. It took about 2 wks. to get it back. Worked fine for about 4 months and the problems continued. I will not buy another Visio TV. I found out that they had many problems with several models.

Hello there, the probability of 2 Vizio LCD's having the same problem is quite abnormal. The problem is definitely from the cable box as LCD TV's are usually factory tested to ensure that such problems dont exist in the unit. Check the cable box and also check the cables with which the cable decoder is connected to the TV. This is where your problem is from.

Tv is turning off and on

There no lamp in the LCD tv only CCFO floorescent light tubes.U can't reset or adjust those CCFO floorescent light tubes. Those CCFO floorescent light tubes are design to work as a whole LCD screen for the tv that it.The tv power supply board is dead. That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.That the power supply board,it dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement. On the board u said u see flashing blue light, searches all around for those dead leakages capacitors, they alway bulges up on it tops or puff up on it tops.Replaced those dead capacitors or replaced the whole board. This actions will get the tv power stable again and work.

Need vizio code for Samsung remote!!

I have a 37 inch vizio and had the same problem. After a little web research, I came across a suggestion that the LG codes might work. I tried it and found that the code 19 worked. You might try that. If 19 doesn't work for you, one of the other LG codes might (they are 06, 21, 22, 23 or 78).
