Question about LG RUMOR Cellular Phone
A'ight, so I got myself a
brand new shiny green LG Rumor (LG LX-260 for you technical types), and
I'm having a bit of a problem getting animated gifs to work as
wallpaper. My provider is Sprint, if it matters.
Long story short -
When I go to reddodo.com and use their tools to make a customized animated image, I'm able to save it to my computer as a gif, upload it to mobile17.com , send a link to my phone via text, download the file, and the animation works beautifully.
If I go into Adobe ImageReady, make an animated gif from scratch, upload *that* to mobile17.com and grab it from my phone, the animation is gone.
What's reddodo doing that I'm not? Or more specifically, how can I emulate whatever trick reddodo is doing to the files that keeps my phone from stripping the animation out of a gif?
1. Make sure the animation is of proper size for the Rumour (176x220 or 220x176 pixels). 2. Try using rumkin.com's uploader instead (it even has a special send-to-SMS option made for Sprint).

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
