Question about Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7in. WiFi Tablet, 8GB
I would like to load word files, movies, music etc on the card and then access it from the Tab
There are several things to consider:
Card Format - Meaning how the SD card files are allocated on the drive, like FAT32 (Windows) and ext4 (Linux). If they don't match you may not be able to interchange.
File Format - If both are the same drive format, then most media files are interchangeable. Like AVI and JPG. These are two universal type files.
Application Files - Have to adhere to the above, plus be readable by application. Like a PDF file may not be accessible to what ever Office suite you are trying use.
This is standard practice world wide, so I hope it makes sense and you can use. GL

Note: These steps clear data from the device. SD card data like your photos and music are not erased unless you choose to format the SD card.
2. Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo, but continue to hold Volume Upuntil the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. PressHome to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.
The Galaxy Tab should then go through the hard reset process.
If you have access to the OS, you can also perform a hard reset in Settings.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Select Privacy.
3. Choose Factory data reset.
