Read the manual ... orange light means it needs descaling.

Clean out the unit completely, there is something blocking the sensor.

SOURCE: Replacing the pipe unit

the pipe will pull on and push on. It should have rubber connections. I first would remove the 4 screws on bottom. Should only need a screwdriver and a needle nose pliers. I haven't seen a diagram or repair manual yet.

I have a nespresso Latissima with auto milk frothier & the plastic tube which draws the milk tastes & smells like curdled milk. I can taste it in the coffee as well.

Try running 1/5th vinegar and 4/5 water through the frothing device. This will clean out any gunk that might have clogged the interior

Sorry chaps, all these suggestions are wrong. The orange light on the small cappuccino button means the unit needs to be descaled. See Nespresso support to download the user guide and you'll see this explained there

I Have a de' Longhi EN680 which keeps cutting out while operating. I Have to press the lighted button repeatedely to get a morning coffee.??

i came across this problem while i was trying to configure the machine to dispense more coffee. you have to re-calibrate the amount of coffee or milk it - consult the manual.

Milk container connected to machine but no light at cappuccino and macchiato.So not possible to make coffee with milk.

sounds like the switch that is activated by the pitcher is not engaging correctly. try fiddling around with that a little... if not you could bypass it but it voids any and all warranty so you may want to call DeLonghi. Hope that helps
