Question about Dell PowerEdge 1800 Server
Can I run Windows XP on the Poweredge 1800. If I use the server installation setup disk it is looking for Server O/S. If I try to load XP straight, it doesn't find any disk drives. The system is currently configured as Raid 5 using 3 SCSI drives. Any help would be appreciatied.
During the Windows XP setup you will need to provide the RAID driver using a pre-formated floppy disk.
Windows will ask you if you want to provide additional drivers and give you the key combination to use to do that.
