My computer avg antivirus is not working?


first of all remove the avg from you computer then remove in registry files too

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

While trying update my Adobe reader, i got the message of the updater: error 1402: could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\... i have tried to uninstall the Adobe reader from the control panel,...


The error is in a registry file.....you need to repair the registry...you can use any registry mechanix for it.....try downloading registry mechanic and running it on your system.

Since downloading the suggested Ceedo update Ceedo will not open. A message tells that the module cannot be found. How can I recover Ceedo?


Your Ceedo drive does not need to be connected when the steps below are carried out
  1. Click start ' run, type in regedit, and click OK
  2. When the registry editor opens, click on Edit ' Find, and type in menushowdelay and hit the Enter key on the keyboard
  3. When the first MenuShowDelay registry key is found, press enter to edit the key's value
  4. Change the value to 400 and hit Enter again
  5. Hit the F3 key to automatically search for the next MenuShowDelay registry key
  6. Change the value of the key to 400
  7. There are four MenuShowDelay registry keys. Each of these keys must have the value changed to 400
  8. When all four MenuShowDelay keys have been edited, close the registry editor and restart your PC
  9. When you reach the desktop again, connect your Ceedo drive and lauch Ceedo
The issue should now be resolved.

check for ur driver, install updated driver, check registry key of diver, go to device management and check the device , clean registry key of driver and enable it use registry cleaner reg in out may solve it

update ur driver for web can, if there is an error in the driver registry key it could be the cause, run registry fix tool

PROBLEM IN INSTALLING AUDIO DRIVERS


Hi, could you explain further! but in the mean time to check for driver problem. Go to start key then control panel, system, hard ware then device manager. Any problems will be high lighted by a yellow key, click on the + sign. you can right click audio and update your driver i.e from disk.

It may be a registry issue .Try following steps but remember take a backup of your registry (upper filter & lower filter)

Using Device Manager
To fix this error, first try to update the driver from the Device Manager. To open Device Manager, right-click My Computer on your Desktop, and then on the Hardware tab, select the Device Manager button.
In the Device Manager window, identify the CD or DVD drive item (with Yellow exclamation mark), right-click on it and select Update Driver. Follow the screen instructions to update the device driver and restart your PC.
Using Registry Editor
If updating the driver does not resolve the problem, it indicates that there is a problem in the registry. To fix this problem, you may have to remove a few keys from the registry.
Note: Be careful while working with the registry editor because changes done to the registry using the Registry Editor are irreversible and mistakes can leave you with more problems than when you started. Therefore, it is recommended that you make a backup of the registry before proceeding with the changes.
After you have removed the registry keys listed below, you will have to reinstall all applications that you use for CD or DVD recording to make them work properly.
To fix the error by editing the registry, perform the following steps:

Missing dll


When you start the computer, you see an error message similar to " S32evnt1.dll. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed DLL initialization."


Solution:
To fix the problem, edit the registry and restart the computer. Then update the Symevent files and restart the computer again.

Follow the directions for your version of Windows:

To edit the Windows XP registry
  1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type regedit
  3. Click OK.
  4. Go to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlVirtualDeviceDrivers

  5. In the right pane, delete the VDD value.
  6. In the left pane, right-click the VirtualDeviceDrivers key, and then click New > Multi-String Value.
  7. Type VDD for the name of the new value.
  8. Exit the Registry Editor.
  9. Restart the computer.

To edit the Windows 2000 registry
  1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type regedt32
  3. Click OK.
  4. Go to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlVirtualDeviceDrivers

  5. In the right pane, delete the VDD value.
  6. On the Edit menu, click Add Value.
  7. In the Value Name box, type VDD.
  8. In the Data Type drop-down menu, click REG_MULTI_SZ, and then click OK.
  9. Exit the Registry Editor.
  10. Restart the computer.

To update the Symevent files
  1. Follow the directions in the document Updating the Symevent files.
  2. After you update the Symevent files, restart the computer.

If your CD-ROM drive is not visible in My Computer, you may see the following error message displayed with the CD or DVD drive item in your Device Manager. (Steps to open Device Manager are discussed later in the article.)
