Re: system freeze for a few second then back to normal
Have you tried running benchmark software with both the 5600 and the 6000? if you run say aquamark or 3dmark 06 or 07 and compare the scores you will see which is faster then what... if the 5600 is in fact showing that its faster then you may have to update your bios so it recognizes the new cpu some mobos i have messed with had this problem but after flashing the bios it corrected the issue esp if the cpu was released say a year later from when the mobo was released. make sure you have amd driver software installed too this gives you a performance boost if you install the amd driver software rather then running windows drivers that automaticly installs on your computer when you install windows most forget about the drivers for the cpu because only recently amd started making drivers available directly from their sites. here is the link

The lag you're experiencing most likely isn't the result of any physical abnormality, but rather you're network. How many people in your household share the same network? The more people on a network, the slower it will run. (I've actually experience this first hand) You might have too much people sharing your network for your game to run smoothly. Try to go on hours that everyone is not on. As for the repeated starts and stops, during game play, don't stress that. Its normal.
Assuming you mean a bad framerate and not actual 'lag', the problem
would appear to exist in your processor, as it is old and outdated. and
only just fits the minimum requirements to RUN THE GAME, not run the

I'm not sure if there is a VHS menu on normal firmware, but if your running custom most likely the problem is your last update. Here is how to fix: Click Select->Select CPU Clock XMB->Toggle To Default->Exit Menu
Because your PSP is running on something like 20/10 and lagging real bad it may freeze when you open the menu, if so turn your PSP off by holding the power button up and forcing the shutdown, keep trying until you can get the menu working. It will also not respond to your commands properly, when you click down it will move through like 3 options because of the lag, be patient wait till it lands on CPU Clock XMB and follow the instructions. Happy Gaming!
