I need SOFTWARE for Husqvarna Viking Huskystar EM10 Embroidery Machine

I bought the Huskystar EM10 Embroidery machine @ Joann's in Porter Ranch, CA. My daughters Christmas gift. We used it a few times. It needed repairs several times. Finally "exchanged" just before 1 yr. My computer crashed. When we went to install the software on new computer we realized that the Software Disc was not in the box. Joann's is NO HELP. Husqvarna referred me to the retailer. PLEASE HELP.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: #1 Viking Embroidery #13 Set.

Use any card that has the On/Off in the bottom right og the card (1). You have to know what number is you design so you can push that number after selecting on/off. Make sure you programmed emb card is in the machine. You can use another card if you do not have the generic numbered card with on/off and the hoop positioning E on the right side of the numbers 1 to 35 designs.

Buy a PC, or get the program that mac has that supports pc programs. I've seen it work so I'm sure it's an optioin. Mac people don't like the program, but it will create an environment that supports PC programs.

SOURCE: Designer I software compatibility

You need the Husqvarna Viking software to turn those file extensions into the SHV format. It's about $400 at your dealer. Their web site does a nice job of showing its features. You get over 100 fonts and alot of designs too. You would open your current designs on a screen and then re-write them to the floppy or stick depending on your model of D1. It then sends the stitch information with the picture of the design to the floppy so your D1 can display the image. (The SHV format)
The VIP and HUS format don't carry the image file for your machine so it say's, "file not found", when you try to open them in your D1.

You'll need to go to the Viking site and see if they have an update to the software. Otherwise you'll need to buy an older machine to use for the embroidery software.

I have a huskystar E20, husqvarna viking sewing machine. I the bobbin winder is not engaging...any suggestions" Are you using the right bobbin - class 15 and not 15J? I am having a similar problem and I believe it's because I'm using a bobbin 15J and not the 15. 15J's are just slightly less tall when lying flat next to a 15, and the edges of the 15J are slightly curved inward toward the thread whereas the 15's edge are completely straight and flat. If I hold a 15J just right on the winder, I can get it to engage sometimes. That slight size difference must be the cause. I'm off to pick up some new 15's and will test it out!

I need to download a manual for a viking 330 model sewing machine

I don't think that Viking allows free downloads. I think that you have to buy one from them, either their site or at a Viking sewing center, ie JoAnn Fabrics

I have an EM10 that I just bought 2 weeks ago and after doing a defrag it now says the main motor stalled and it is making this horrible sound. I am searching online for parts and I can't find any. I have found that the customer support really sucks for the husqvarna huskystar machine.

I have a huskystar em10 embroidery machine which wont embroider it will run for so long then the needle will snap, its not the tension

I have the same machine and had the same problem. I was changing my needle about every 50 stitches until I realized that it was the timing. After I learned how to adjust the timing the machine has worked fine. The problem is I have to adjust the timing about every 3000 stitches. I leave the bottom off of my machine because I adjust it so often. If you contact a husqvarna dealer they will tell you that they have to send the machine off to get it adjusted and that you can't do it yourself. I didn't have time for this so I googled how to do it and figured it out.
