If you have the original cd you may need it to restore some defective, altered or missing files. You can begin by going into Control Panel, Add/Remove (assuming XP) and Selecting Quickbooks. If you see an option to repair the program, select it and proceed.
Alternative option is to reinstall the CD and launch the setup. It will ask you is you want to repair the installation. Agree to this choice and proceed.
Once the repair is complete, restart the program and see if the problem is rectified. Good luck.

You may have to kill these processes before you do an uninstall / repair. Press ctrl + alt + del and select the processes tab. Find anything that says quickbooks or intuit. You could also look for the process ID's you posted. When you find them highlight each and press end process.
Intuit also offers this tool: QuickBooks_Clean_Install_Utility.exe

I cannot save a backup copy of my quickbooks 2007 it verifys the data and then says the back up was unable to save

Try this: with the QB file open go to FILE..... UTILITIES....VERIFY DATA (this will go thru a process to identify if there is a problem) If there is a problem QB will let you know then the next step would be to rebuild data.

IF this does not work there are a few other things you can do. You can call me @ 612 718-3023 and I can walk you thru the process. ThanksTammie Nasseff CPA

Quickbooks Pro 2007 Printing Blank Invoices

Go 'Lists' and then open 'Templates', double click on the product invoice and make sure the invoice is 'Active'.
Qbooks saves printer settings for each feature, regardless of which is set as 'default' in sure you have the correct printer selected.
If the above are set correctly, go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your printer.

I am a property manager. How do I email my Quickbooks Pro 2007 files to my clients who don't have Quickbook? I finally resolved it by printing all of my transactions I had done in 2008 with my client's...

Hi deanroussel,

First off, if the client doesn't have Quickbooks, then sending them the files wouldn't do them a whole lot of good right? So, what I would do, is when your run the report in Quickbooks, look for the excel icon, click that icon, and it will send the data to excel in a really nice format for the client to review. This is probably the best way, because most people have excel, and it's create a rather small file to send to them.

Best of Luck

QuickBooks has experienced an error on startup

Step one is run scandisk. If you have a cross linked or corrupted file it will sort that out automactically. Step 2 is to google "where is the quickbooks repair feature".....odds are someone has used it before. Step your Quickbooks database (in at least two places) and delete and reinstall Quickbooks if all else fails.
