Question about Logitech X-530 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

The speakers don't work anymore.

I bought the X-530 speakers and hooked them up to my computer , but when i decided to move the computer to a another room i accidently deleted some program, that was probably the reason they don't work anymore.I'd really like to know if there was a CD with a software or not cause I bought it a while ago and don't remember.
Thank you.

Hi, I bought recently a new 5.1 Surround Sound System Logitech X-530 and want to connect it to our new LCD LG 32LD450 HD TV. The LG TV has apart from all Digital, Optical and RCA Connections as well one...

You can't connect the speakers to your TV. I doesn't have any audio output available, just inputs. Those are for connecting the audio from sources like DVD players, and they go in to the TV's sound system. But there's no way of getting the sound out except through the set's internal speakers. The surround system you got is great for a computer, but it's not what you need for TV use.

The only solution I can offer is the suggestion that you invest in a home theater receiver. You can get decent basic systems with the receiver (often with DVD/audio CD playback capability built in) and surround speakers at reasonable prices. Then you use that to drive the speakers, and use the TV just as a video monitor. Then you will have surround sound.

Radio Interferance on my logitech computer speakers

You may be now living too close to a radio station. Sometimes when this is the situation, anything electronic gear plugged into a wall socket can act like an antenna, thus receiving signals from local radio stations.

Check the following:

- Make sure that the speakers are connected to the audio port. Normally its colored green but sometimes blue.

- check the volume settings in your computer and on the speakers

AFTER 3 MONTHS SPEAKERS COSTING OVER $200 ONE SPEAKER DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE

Logitech equipments are usually pretty good. It should be under warranty so I would not try to fix it yourself.
If you bought your product new from an authorised dealer, your expensive speakers would still be under the normal Logitech 2 yeas sound systems warranty: consult your warranty terms an contact both your dealer and Logitech support.
Hope it helps. let me know how you go.
