Open the Control Panel on your computer. This is located in the Start menu. You should be viewing your control panel in "Classic View," which means all your icons are visible. If you find that your control is not in "Classic View," you can change the view by clicking on the hyperlink for it located in the left-hand pane of the control panel.

Select "Ease of Access" from the control panel by double clicking on the icon, which will open the Ease of Access Center.

Select the link called "Make the keyboard easier to use," which will be located under the heading "Explore all settings." Click once on the link to select.

Deselect the box next to "Turn on Sticky Keys," which is located under the heading "Make it easier to type." By un-checking this box, you will have turned off the Sticky Keys. To apply the new settings permanently, click "Apply" and close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.

Disable one letter keyboard

To change or disable any of the 108 keys on your keyboard we suggest using KeyTweak, a great small and free utility. This utility allows you to change how any of the keys on your keyboard work including the caps lock, shift, windows key, F1 through F12 keys, and num lock keys.
A download for this utility can be found at:
Once this program has been downloaded and installed open the program and click on the key you want to change or otherwise disable and choose the new key to be used or click disable button to disable it.

My deepfreeze didn't show in my taskbar how i can disable it?

I understand that you would like to disable the deepfreeze software installed on the computer.

One or more methods can be employed to enable/disable (Freeze/Thaw) Deep Freeze depending on the version being used.
A) Locally at the workstation (Deep Freeze Standard and Enterprise):
The following steps can be used to disable (Thaw) Deep Freeze:

  1. Hold down the SHIFT key and double-click the Deep Freeze icon. Alternatively, you can press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F6. A Password dialog is displayed.
  2. Enter your password and click OK. If you have not yet entered a password you should be able to click OK without entering a password. The Boot Options dialog is displayed.
  3. Select "Boot Thawed" and click OK. This will disable Deep Freeze on the next reboot.
  4. The same steps can be used to enable (Freeze) Deep Freeze. The only change is to select "Boot Frozen" instead of "Boot Thawed".
B) Remotely via Deep Freeze Command Line Control (Deep Freeze Enterprise only):
Deep Freeze Command Line Control (DFC.EXE) can be used to Thaw/Freeze Deep Freeze through a script or batch file. More information about using this utility can be found in the Deep Freeze Enterprise user guide available at:
C) Remotely via the Enterprise Console (Deep Freeze Enterprise only):
The Deep Freeze Enterprise Console can be used to Thaw/Freeze a workstation using the following steps:
  1. Select the workstations to Thaw/Freeze.
  2. Click the "Reboot in Thawed state" button to Thaw the selected workstations. The workstations should reboot and appear in the Console in a Thawed state.
  3. Click the "Reboot in Frozen state" button to Freeze the selected workstations. The workstations should reboot and appear in the Console in a Frozen state.
Please try the steps and I am sure you would be able to disable the deepfreeze software.

How do you disable the PTT button on the Samsung

From what I have read, there is no setting to disable the PTT
If you don't plan on using your PTT in the future.
Look for the PTT button on the left side of the phone.
Take a pin slide it under the button and pop it off.
On the back of the button, there is a little tab.
Take a nail clipper and shorten the tab just a bit.
Snap the button back on the phone.
With the tab shortend, the PTT will not activate when pushing or hitting the button.

The right shift key does not seems to be disabled

There isn't any way to disable a single key. The keyboard has a problem. You can pry the key off and test it by pressing down on the button under the key. If that does not work you will need to replace the keyboard.

Shift key not working

You have 2 Shift keys on the keyboard. If the other shift key is working then the shift key that is not working is defective. You should consider replacing the keyboard on your laptop. There is no setting on Windows that can disable the shift key.

**Note : If both Shift keys are not working, Try to check if sticky keys feature on windows is on. Sticky keys should be disabled. To disable sticky keys, Click on start and Go into control panel > Accessibility Options, and under keyboard there is sticky keys. Remove the tick and click apply and OK.

**If "Use Sticky Keys" is unchecked, that means sticky keys is disabled.

Meridian Norstar M7310 -- Phone's buttons seem disabled.

Sounds like a stuck button!

Look for the button that is depressed... or the button that has that person that the set is always calling and remove that button with a key/ small knife/ screwdriver or something.

When you take this button off the set, I bet that your set will start working again.

Clean that button, maybe there is something spilled on it.

Good Luck.
