Question about Amana ARB2557CSR / ARB2557CSL Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

1 Answer

My Amana ARB2557CSL has no inside light or cooling

The power is working to the unit, but sometime this morning, light stopped working and is not cooling. Is there a reset button or any other troubleshooting I can do. Purchased in 2003--just out of warranty.

Amana ARB2517C is making a clicking noise and not cooling?

The clicking sound is the overload kicking off the power going to the compressor as to protect it. What you will need to repair this is a=> 67002783 Overload

And you will need a=> 65889-4 Run Capacitor

These parts are found inside the cover on the side of the compressor and the run capacitor is found near the compressor. I will be here to answer any questions you may have, Thanks Sea Breeze

Freezer has stopped working. Lights, fan work. Not getting cold

Hi,

Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...

Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...
