Try and squirt soap into the whole. Coat a pipe cleaner in soap and pull it in and out. Make sure to wash it thoroughly.

Miele 4066 coffee says "fill the milk flask" when its full. How do I replace the sensor? Where do I buy a sensor from?

I have found that most of the time that I see this fault there is a broken wire at the brass contact that the lid of the milk container contacts with. This contact is on the door of the machine on the edge of the oval hole that the milk flask is inserted into. There is a torx 10 screw holding the cover on - remove that screw and you can lift that cover off. You will see a single wire going to the contact. If this wire is in fact making a good connection, then the issue is in the top handle of the milk flask - possibly water inside. I hope that helps.

How does a thermos work?

A thermos is a vacuum flask that has two flasks. One flask is in the other flask and they are joined at the top. The gap doesnt have a lot of air. This makes a near-vacuum with the prurpose of stopping the transfer of heat or cold. Therefore, the thermos keeps a drink hot or cold.

I put whiskey in my metal flask and 24 hours later it tastes like metal. Is that normal?

It's normal if the flask is made of inexpensive metal. My recommendation is that you either use a more costly metal flask you simply drink faster!

How do you actually remove the spout on a Jura E8 to clean clog?

GENTLY GENTLY GENTLY

There are two parts: You will see the top part is fixed - it does not move. Remove it first, placing fingers behind the top of the piece, and gently it toward you. It will pop loose toward you - but not off. To remove completely, simple move the top half straight up, and it will release completely.

The bottom part of the spout is trickier, but equally easy once you know how it is fastened. Exam the bottom half. See how it is fastened by sliding on rails. Facing this piece, gently push leftward on the right side of the spout. The spout is flexible, and it will bow outward enough that the right side will come off its rail, enabling you to gently pull that side out. The left side will then come off as well.

Now you can clean out all the nasty.

Reverse these steps to put it back together.

I'm living in uk and require a replacement stopper for my Stanley flask! Only problem is that the spares shop on the Stanley website only ships to the US or Canada! How do I get hold of one in the uk?

The only website offering a replacement stanley flask stopper I can find is http://www.completeoutdoors.co.uk/Aladdin-Challenger-Replacement-Stopper
This is for a Stanley 1 Litre Aladdin Challenger Flask. I don't know what model your flask is but if it's not this one I would imagine that any Stanley flask dealer should be able to order one for you.

Both spouts seem clogged

I have a Jura Impressa F7 that had the exact same issue. To solve it was pretty simple. Try and make a cup of coffee, and while the machine is trying to pump the coffee thru the spouts, grab the chrome handle on the spout and vigerously move it up and down rapidly. You should notice small grounds of coffee dislodge and follow the stream of coffee into your cup. If you do this a couple of times, you will be able to clear the trapped grounds within the spout. Hope it works for you as well as it worked for me.
