Intializing Card Error Message

Every time insert a new memory card, I receive the message "card not initialized" I followed the instructions in the book regarding reasons I could be getting this message and it tells me to buy a new memory card if I have followed the directions - which I have. I have tried 3 new memory cards. Can anyone help. Thanks.

I inserted a 2gb memory card into a fujifilm digital camera A330 and getting an error message "card not initialized." How do I fix?

It wants you to format the card in the camera. This will erase it so if there are any pictures on it, download them first using a card reader if necessary. Then, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.
