Question about Motorola Mobility H700 Wireless Headset

1 Answer

Motorola H700 will not connect or stay connected

No matter what I do this bluetooth will not stay connected to my LG CU515.
With my old phone, when I opened the bluetooth it automatically connected....Should this work the same way....?
I have gone through all the steps numerous times but nothing makes it work correctly.
Also read a post where it might be loose where it opens and I did what was recommended and that did not work either.
Called AT&T and the rep was....totally unhelpful

Hello, dont be dispaired just keep trying to connect by pulling your mike in and out, some times they need to be worn in, had same problem with my first h-700 and after about 20 0r 30 times moving the mike in and out it took off, some of my seven h-700s paired automatically and some didnt, the secret to putting them in discover mode is with the mike closed press the call button till it turns solid purple and briskly pull the mike down and go thru the pairing process.these are my expieriances, may not be a solution but give er a whirl. good luck m,m.

You should remove this item from the phone and reconnect / pair it again. In the manual for the headset you have information on how to reconnect the headset to the phone and the phone have to be in "discover" mode for bluetooth

Hold down the connect button on headset until steady purple light comes on, then open the boom.

Search for Bluetooth devices on the phone. When asked for a pin, use "0000". Now the H700 will show up in the Bluetooth device list, but it will not connect. Put the headset in pairing mode again, this time go to the h700 listed on the phone and select connect. Now the devices will work as normal. When you open the boom on the h700, it will connect to the phone.

Motorola bluetooth pairing

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select H700 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.
