    Make sure the vga plug into your computer is snug. Try to tighten the thumb screws. I would have to say 90% of the time i come across this problem at work the plug is just coming out of the machine.

Just a long shot, but would be an easy thing to try, is move your monitor away from any magnets or speakers or tvs or any other device, see if it goes away.

Most likely you have lost conductivity in one of the wires inside the VGA cable leading to the main unit. There are 15 wires that lead through the cable, each has its own purpose for making red, green, blue, etc. as well as for adjusting vertical and horizontal frequencies. You can check the pins inside the plug to see if any are bent, and attempt to straighten them if you are careful. You can check for a short somewhere inside the cable by wiggling it around where the plug is and where it goes into the main unit. If that is the case the cable may be repaired. Otherwise it may be a problem inside the monitor, in which case you should give the monitor a good bang on the outside to see if anything jars loose (hehe), or have it looked at by someone in professional electronics repair.

Do you have an old CRT? If you do, it's going bad (assuming you have tried to adjust it with the monitor color adjusting utility that is part of your monitor)

Contrast is pink. Cannot get it white.

PINK is a mixture of just two of the three "primary" colours.
WHITE is a mixture of all three "primary" colours.

So, your monitor is NOT producing one of those primary colours. or is not producing the right "mix" to get from RED to DUSTY ROSE to PALE ROSE to WHITE colours.

The monitor color is pink...i want it to change to normal color...

Colors on the monitor are produced by mixing the three "primary" colours.
If the monitor is not producing one of those three colours, you can get "pink" instead of "white".
Fix the monitor, or replace the monitor, or replace the video-card (if using a different monitor also produces "pink").

Monitor turned pink

Video-cards generate "primary" colours (red, green, blue), and "mix" those colours to produce millions of "secondary" colours.

First, try replacing the "data' cable between the LCD and the video-card.

Second, if your LCD works correctly when connected to some other desktop or laptop computer, then the video-card in your computer is not working properly -- not sending one of the "primary" colours to the LCD. Replace the video-card.

My monitor resolution colour is changed to pink.

Check the data-cable between the computer and the monitor, and try a different cable.

Or, try connecting the monitor to a different computer, to see if the video-card in your computer is not working correctly.
If necessary, replace the video-card.

Colours on your monitor are produced by "mixing" the 3 "primary" colours: red/green/blue in various proportions.

Or, if part of the monitor that produces one of those 3 primary colours has stopped working, then the resulting "mix" will have too much RED/PINK. Fix/replace the monitor.

Monitor changed to yellow colour.... what is the problem...?

Monitors mix the 3 "primary" colours, in various proportions, to produce all other colours.

Mix equal parts of all 3 colours, and you get WHITE.
Mix equal parts of only 2 colours, and you get YELLOW.

So, either:
1. your computer's video-card is not sending the 3rd colour;
2. your video-cable between the computer and the monitor is broken, and is not transmitting the 3rd colour;
3. your video-cable is not TIGHTLY connected at each end;
4. the electronics inside the monitor that SHOULD be producing the 3rd colour have failed.

Try connecting the monitor to a different computer, with the same video-cable. If it works correctly, your video-card is the problem.

Try connecting the monitor with a different video-cable, to see if replacing the cable fixes the problem.

Try connecting the monitor to a different computer, with a different video-cable. If it still is incorrect, then the monitor needs repair/replacement.

Bluish green screen on dell laptop

It might be that your red pin is bent out of shape. Please make sure ALL pins on BOTH ends are straight, and none are broken or missing. Also, make sure that they are firmly secure.

Samsung 794mg --- problem in monitor screen --- uneven colour mix

sounds like the monitor experienced being close to a magnetic field.

if the monitor doesn't have a auto degaussing (demagnatise) function on start up, then try using the degaussing function on the monitor (in the menu somewhere).

if no good, then you can try moving/waving a magnet near the affected area. b careful! slowly wave the magnet from a distance 1st, until you have improvements. too close and it will change the colours further!

Monitor is not in normal color

Check to ensure the plug is all the way plugged into the back of the machine. Tighten the thumb screws and this should fix the problem.
