Cd is rejected every time - Onkyo DX-7711 CD Player

its got to be the switch that you push to reject the Cd's maybe its wet or is stuck in

replace the cd player. seen this too many time.

Most CD players have a little tiny reset button that u can push w a pen or something small to eject CD...

The loading tray may have been damaged. It will need to be sent away for repair.

Either it's a bad CD (format, or scratches), or you have a faulty CD Player. If the CD player is bad, it is likely much cheaper to just buy a new one, than to fix the factory one.

It won't reject because it needs to have the gripper arm complete the motion before the microswitches on the cam are in the right position.
It has either seized up or blown a fuse or both.

PEO normally means Player Error Optical which means that for some reason the cd player is not reading the cd correctly.  This can happen if the disk is dirty or has a lot of scratches.  If the disk is clean and in good condition more than likely the cd player will need to be replaced.

Press the Q/I/ATT and the "sel" button at the same time with the unit off for more than 2 seconds. This will reset the entire unit (you'll have to re-program the memory stations for FM & AM). The disc should eject automatically.

I had the same problem, with rejections getting more and more frequent. In the end replacing the DVD burners fixed the problem. Apparently, the red lasers that burn the cd surface fade with use. They are still fine reading the disk at low power, but burning at high power becomes progressively more hit-and-miss.
