Is there a drying system for the Canon iPF700? We

normally you don't have to wait for drying.
Most of the printings materials are instant dry except some special papers that the driver handles the drying time.
Be sure that the papers you are using are suitable for this kind of printer.

Output is a different size to that input

Try the following, from size options set a new paper to the max dimensions (914cm width and 15240 lenth).
Then at the Layout tab click the box NO SPACES AT TOP OR BOTTOM.
It's very important to click the box if you choose large lenth paper sizes.

Paper size error

What that means is that you put in a size of paper that your printer can't use. Apparently, the paper you loaded was detected by the printer and was recognized as being a size it isn't designed to use. HP.com has a web page for your printer that tells you which paper sizes you can use for your printer.

Product Specifications

When the web page opens, scroll down to the Paper specifications area and look for the Paper sizes table. Use only the paper sizes that are listed there in your printer. Good luck.

How to change the size of the paper on this printers

Where is your problem?

Changing the paper size and size adaptations are possible from the printer driver settings - just look into the tabs.

Paper size of sheets is detected, when you load it.

Roll paper is loaded in the drawer - and I think width is detected while the loading process.

Please give more details on your problem

PAPER SIZE DETECTION ERROR

Are you tring to use a paper tray or the manual by pass tray?If you are tring to use a paper tray for more then one or more copiers, you are going to have to ask your service techs to change the setting of one of your paper trays to A4 in service mode. Or if that has been done, look behind the paper trays for a wade of paper blocking the size detect switchs behind the paper trays. Good Luck

Loading cut sheets

Try to check the paper media set on the plotter (roll/plain paper). It usually happens if paper media is not the same with the plotter setting. To change it, unload the paper, press the media button on the printer to the right media and load the paper again. It should work now.
