I, personally, wouldn't bother because the alarm from home security systems is usually enough to scare a burglar away. The lights might be overkill.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

As a free anti-malware (anti-virus) that will actively catch malware as it comes to your system, I actually recommend Microsoft Security Essentials. I would also install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (the free version does not run in the background) so you can do virus scans when you want if you think something may have gotten past the Microsoft tool.

What are the different types of home alarm systems?

There are two types of home alarm systems, the wireless home alarm system and the hard wired home alarm system. Wireless home alarm systems are the most common these days with many of them having a simple do it yourself installation. Hard wired home alarm systems are still around and still used, however. Wireless home alarm systems are much simpler to install and much easier to maintain. (www.prweb.com)

Reset security ,,ran for like 2 mins then check engine and security light allover again...whats the problem?

The key has a microchip inside of it. If the key is damaged,it will continue to do that. Another possibility is the security ring that goes around the ignition cylinder,OR the ignition cylinder itself. Id get a new key,and have it programmed first, before going any further...OR have someone with a scan tool check the security system for codes.

I FORGET MY PASSWORD AND THEY ASK ABOUT MY PET NAME WHICH I AGAIN FORGET PLS HELP ME

Hello. This is simply yahoo's attempt to keep your account secure. I recommend that you develop a system to write down this information in a safe and secure place so that you do not have this as a reoccurring issue. You will have to call yahoo from your home phone or contact them from your computer to reestablish a password and a security name. J.

Jut replaced the fuel pump. Security light keeps

It starts with the security light and then gets worse till the car won't start anymore. The security system (VATS/Passkey) installed on these GM cars is anti-owner more than an anti-theft. There are 3 parts involved: 1) The chip-key 2) The lock cylinder 3) The TDM (aka the brain of the system) if any of these parts fails or is even slightly malfunctioning, the car stays stuck where you are and you only get a dealer asking you about 1,000$ to fix it. And all the 3 parts have a quite short lifespan. Way too many people got in this situation (including myself). I don't recommend any partial solution or any used parts as it would happen again way too soon to be acceptable and if it happens 100 miles from home (like it happened to me....) it's a big burden. I finally made it to save my beloved 94 Park Avenue (with the same system that is installed in your car) with a solution that I found on the internet and that bypasses the entire factory security system, all 3 pieces altogether and you can even remove the TDM at the end and use 99c keys without chip. The product I used is at http://newrockies.com and is still working perfectly after 5 years. Don't go to the dealer!

Is GE Simon 3 a good security system and reliable? We want to know if it is dependable and if it's a very good system to use in our home.

I personally would not recommend. during a break in key pad will draw someone with hammer right to it. A few well placed hits and its done for. Thats is my opinion.

Security light on

Several GM products, including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu, the Oldsmobile Alero, the Pontiac Grand Prix, and Saturn Ion, have issues with the Security light coming on. This is many times an indication of a failing Body Control Module (BCM). Initially, the Security light will come on then go off, progressing to a constant on light, before the car will refuse to start. Other symptoms may include erratic action of electronics, a clicking sound coming from the glove box, and the air conditioning failing to blow cold air. I recommend a shop that specializes in the electronic systems of vehicles to diagnosis and make the necessary repairs. They should keep the car until they replicate the symptoms described. A new BCM from GM should cost about $230; plan on another $200 for them to diagnose the problem, replace the unit, and program the new unit. The dealers quote between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. My experience and the experiences I have read on the internet, indicate the new BCM should last only about a year.
