Am getting a bad buzzing noise from my laney lc15

Bad connection? Loose fittings? I used to get a crackle from my amp when I turned the volume or balance knobs. A quick spray of WD 40 down the shaft after removing the knobs fixed it.

Why do I have crackling and hiss in one channel

If it is making noise as you describe with nothing plugged into the channel and without moving the controls, it needs to go to the shop. You should contact Peavey to discuss the problem. Here is a link to their support page-
Peavey com
And here is their Service Center locater page-

My Roland FP8 plays very quietly through its own speakers, through an external amp & speaker and through the earphones. There is a hissing/crackling/static sound too from the speakers. Anyone

A number if things can be wrong with it, from the audil preamp to the the audio amplifier. Even as simple as a bad volume control. Does the actual noise change patterns when you move the volume?

I turn my fx off but can still here it and the od sound is lower than the fdx button when i push it in to turn it on

2 things 1: there is no off button for the built in digital effects, you just turn the level down to minimum, the fdx button you speak of is actually fdd (frequency dependant damping) this is supposed to mimic how a tube amp sounds

2: when you press the od switch the amp goes into hi gain mode and will hiss with no input, the point is if you plug a guitar in and play it the volume of the guitar is way above the hiss and you don't hear it

so in conclusion having bought and sold many mg series amplifiers the on you have is perfectly ok

Behringer ub802 mixer is buzzing even when no input when i hook my head phones into the headphone jack and main output jack

If it buzzes when you have no inputs AND no output leads connected, there is a problem with the power supply... HOWEVER if you have used UNBALANCED output cables instead of the REQUIRED TRS BALANCED output cables, it is possible the noise is being driven backwards and that is what you are hearing. Note that at full gains, there often is a tiny bit of noise, usually hiss. Also make sure the supply is powered from the SAME receptacle as the equipment this drives such as an amp or powered speakers.

Fender acoustasonic junior crackling loudly and electronic buzz when touch volume knobs

noise problem with fender jr accoustatics is the poor aluminum sheet ground design that wraps around the body of the amp. it happens to me all the time because i kept on moving/carrying/dropping the amp every time we do church service. i am thinking of using an aluminum cable to wrap around outside the body.

I have a buzzing noise through my MG50dfx every time I use the foot switch and have changed to the over dive/distorted sound. Any help would be wonderful?

Has it always done this? If it's just a mild hissing sound, chances are it's normal. If it's a loud obnoxious buzz, is your gain cranked all the way up? If it is, turn it down about half way and see if it goes away. If not, take it in to a good guitar store for service/diagnosis.

Its a marshal 8080 valvestate 80 v and it buzzes and some of the knobs crackle when turned,

Buzzing could be normal for this amp, especially if you have the gain cranked way up (or the volume way up) see if the buzz goes away when you turn the gain/volume down. If not, there is a problem that needs to be properly diagnosed by the amp tech at your local music store. The crackling is also unfortunately rather normal for an amp that's a little older. Oxidation builds up inside the knobs and makes that noise as you turn them. If it only happens when you change settings I wouldn't worry about it, but if it gets bad, a tech guy can clean it out for you.

I have a buzzing noise coming from my Marshall AVT100. It is present on all the channels. Is it likely to be caused by the valve? The valve inside is made by Electro Harmonix and it was made in Russia....

okay so buzzing noise. i have seen this once before. the extension cord feeding a power strip with two amps plugged in and powered on off of a low amp electrical outlet with fluorescent lights overhead.......try running only one power unit off of the electrical outlet you are using, just one straight into the wall with the lights out. if you still hear it i wonder if the output transformer is starting to go south. if you listen close sometimes you can hear the buzz of a transformer powered on, example: you can hear the buzz of a power transformer on a power pole in peak hours. tubes usually make hisssing, crackling type noises. next would be to tap on the tubes while in play with an orange stick or pencil eraser to listen for microphics or the tapping itself thru the speakers. if you hear with out a doubt change them.

Constant buzzing in my 15 W amplifier

Make sure you have a ground prong on your power cord. Most input jacks nowadays are closed circuit. They have a switch built in that won't allow any sound without the cord plugged in. You may have a damaged jack that will give you a loud hiss, a loud hum or crackling depending on what volume your controls are set at.
