Jacuzzi undermount sink

I have a undermount Jacuzzi kitchen sink. Is there a trim ring available so it can be mounted on top of counter. Does this sink require special faucet and trim, because the mounting holes look very larage. I can email photo if required.

Your sink is clearly made to be undermounted. No trim ring available. With all of the choices now available for sinks and faucets I would recommend that the jacuzzi sink be removed and that you select a new sink and faucet set to your liking. good luck.

You can use Kohler cast iron kitchen sink cleaner, available on line, Jacuzzi recommends warm water, mild non-abrasive liquid soap for everyday cleaning and Barkeepers Friend or Zud for tougher stains. No Abrasives whatsoever. like Comet etc.

Will under mounted sink take the weight of garburator?

The sink should be physically mounted with clips if it is not cast iron, otherwise a cradle made of wood is usually the route I go.

There were no instructions to install my undermount sink. What can I do?

Most under mount sinks are installed before the counter tops go in, they are cut to fit and glued in with 2 part epoxys and secured with screws and clamps. Replacing one in an existing counter top is not an easy job. If you have a granite top, forget it. If it is wood and formica, ok, you can pull the splash off and remove the top, but it is a lot of work. You would be better off with a new top, or a new sink, rim type. Now if you are building a new house and this is new construction, then you can do it no problem. And depending on what kind of top it is, it needs to be screwed and glued. The guy here that did granite for us, would drill out little holes, about 1/4 inch dia, and 1/2 deep for these little machine inserts to go into. Epoxy them in, then clamp the sink down or up to the top with machine screws, about 10/24, 1/2 inch long. Through a clamp, and epoxy the top on, sometimes he used clear silicone. depended on the top. If it was wood, you would just screw into the wood with 1/2 inch pan heads. Hope this helps.

Will under mounted sink take the weight of garburator?

No the weight of the disposal will not separate the sink from the granite. When they set the sink they put wood on the edge under the sink to hold the weight of the sink. You will not have a problem.

I have a black enamal cast iron jacuzzi kitchem sink with 4 holes for the faucet predrilled..the holes are 3" in dia. where can I find a faucet for this sink?

If you have a 3" hole I would definately say that is a special order faucet, But if 3" is a typo you can get what are called "cockhole covers" to cover the hole you're not using. What i usually do is, find a faucet that will use the 3 holes and install a soap dispenser, filtered water spigot, or a instant hot water spigot to fill the fourth hole.
If 3" is not a typo you might try to contact a granite countertop co. or call Jacuzzi and install a larger plate that will cover large holes and have new (smaller) holes drilled for a standard faucet

hope this helps

Can you install a garbage disposal in a corner undermount sink

Are we concerned about the distance between the bottom of the sink and the bottom of the cabinet?

I have installed a lot of disposals on under-mount sinks and I have found the the Badger company has a 1/3 hp unit that is quite short. It may seem a bit small but we need to remember that disposals are not made to chop wood.......1/3 is plenty strong for a person who uses their head when shoving food sown it. Their 1/2 hp unit might also work.

They are available at Lowes and Home Depot for around $60.

Hope this helps
