Question about Kohler K-5988-2-7 Entree Self-Rimming Kitchen Sink, Black Black
Our Kohler 5988 sink discharges water from what I think is the soap dispenser connection all over the counter/backsplash when our dishwasher is in a drain cycle. I inspected under the sink and find what looks like a strange connection - there are two hoses coming from the soap dispenser hole (if this is what that actually is), one leading to the dishwasher and one to the disposal. We are renting and did not install this sink, so we don't know if something has been modified or even how this feature is supposed to work. We have to "supervise" when we run the dishwasher or else water ends up everywhere. Can you help?
Hi.. Its a breather or "vent "and its clogged. Remove the drain tube under the sink that runs from the vent to the connection on the drain( under sink). Clean vent and replace. Please send me some Positive feedback if I've help. Thankyou!
