These units must have a safety system that is detecting an overload, the same way a fuse would do by blowing. The fact that you are getting some power to the system means that any fuse must be intact.

You have to find the cause of the overload and correct it and the safety circuit should go back to normal. It's likely that the overload is a short circuited transistor or something like it.

Tip

My Pioneer displays Overload

Overload is displayed when the amp draw is excessive, and can be caused by different faults.
when Overload is detected, the protection circuit will shut down the unit to prevent further damage.

The first thing to try is hard reset. Shut down the unit for about one hour to drain power completely.
This can fix minor problems that can cause overload, for example electrostatic charge accumulation on internal capacitors.

If that does not fix the problem, then you must find the fault.

Overload can be caused by shorted speakers, wrong impedance speakers, or by a contact on speakers wiring.
Check speakers connection and test different speakers with 6, or better 8 Ohms impedance.

Another test can be done by unplugging all speakers, and reconnecting and testing them one at a time, at a very low volume.

If the speakers are OK, then preamp, shorted input/output connectors, main power supply or faulty output transistors can draw too much amps causing overloading.

In that case it is recommendable contacting Pioneer at the number listed on the owners manual.

Fix onkyo ts-sr313 turn on problem

If the relay clicks on and then off straight away then it might have detected an overload condition and so shuts down. Overloads can be caused by faulty speakers or wiring. But if the damage is done already then one of the main power amp transistors or other devices could be short circuited.

There should be a overload to its main power supply regulator section cirlcuit. Actually this section is working well, but when it supplies secondary voltages to the other section circuits, it detects an overload with any other of it, and shuts itself OFF, to prevent further damages, goes to standby mode, and then to protect stage. My duet washer wont work it is lit at control locked whats this mean

A sensor inside has probably detected a problem. Usually it has something to do like too long to drain(something in pump) or suds detect (wrong/too much detergent) unbalance/overload), Motor sensor error and stuff like that. I have a manual HERE

VSX-D608 Overload and shutdown

No more than two 4 Ohms speakers can be connected to the unit, or you will get overload.

If the speakers are OK, then preamp, shorted input/output connectors, main power supply or faulty output transistors can draw too much amps causing overloading.

In that case it is recommendable contacting Pioneer at the number listed on the owners manual.

Overload message in technics model SA- EX400P-K I have an older Technics system. It has worked great for years but now I get overload whenever I turn it on. Have changed speaker wires but no use. Any...

The overload message is the old version of "protect" mode. This means that a problem has been detected in the output amp section and that section is shutdown to prevent further damage. Your unit uses amp-pacs. One or more are bad. These are marked RSN3305P and cost about $66 each.
