Hi i got ps3 and when i start my ps3 it turn it to red and then start blinking. can you help me please

The PS3 red light is a huge problem and it is caused by the GPU and the CPU overheating, all you need to do is stop the heat build up.

You have 2 ways of doing this:

You can send it in however bear in mind that for the fix you will have to wait for 4 weeks and also pay out $150 as well.

Or you can use a good PS3 Repair guide to fix the problem.

This is known as a overheating issue..People sometimes try to fix the problem by pulling there machine apart and reapply thermal paste to the cpu's...Some have got this method to work others haven't..You can send it in for repairs to sony cost around $150...
Secondly you can try a another step turn off the console and unplug from the power,remove old hard drive and re-insert a new hard-drive. This step usually helps fix the blinking red light on PS3.

do you get a yellow light? i bet you do..

1)Turn off your playstation 3. If you think your ps3 has been caught by the heat, then wait at least 20 minutes and put it back on again
2) Check if there's any loose cable.
3) Try to put out your playstation's hard-drive, and put it back in. You might want to repeat this 2-3 times for better results.

If this did not work
Send your playstation back to Sony

Your ps3 has overheated. This is the equivilent to the red ring of death for xbox 360. The ps3 problem is called "yellow light of death" this means your ps3 has died due to the console being overheated. The solution to this problem is either getting a new playstation or take it to a shop in the UK and they could help you fix it for a price around £30-£50 GBP.

It's likely that you are a victim of poor design. Your problem is referred to as the Yellow Light of Death or YLOD.

u have to wait for about 30 mins before turning it back on
coz when it does that it's tired

Are you trying to turn the PS3 on via bluetooth controller? If so, attempted to turn PS3 on from console itself. Sometimes the controller will get out of sync with the system and not allow for turning on remotely.

i think dat there's a big problem in ur ps3 so i think u'd better go n let someone who knows well in da ps3 like SONY support centerin ur country take care of it
