System shutdown in 15 seconds

Shut the power down to the computer all the power and pull the power cord out, remove all usb devices except the mouse and keyboard, Turn the unit back on and see if this fixes the problem, if it doesn't then you will have to go into the computer and clear the c-mos this will allow you to get into the bios screen from there you can set up the computer again. Check you manual for the instructions on bios reset, most times it is just pins 2+3 that need to have a jumper installed to reset it. READ THE MANUAL PINS 2+3 APPEAR ON MANY THINGS ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD

WINDOWS NOT SHUTTING DOWN COMPLETELY

Hi,
You will need to enable the Advance power management in Bios and on windows..
Try to see in the bios the advance setting for APM.
Some motherboard you have to enable this.
Other its simply on windows.
After the installation of windows
Go >Right click desktop>properties>then select screen saver tab>below click power>
Then click APM tab
enable and restart
May be this can solve this issues.
Or else I would advice to change the power supply and see.
Regards
uttam

Acer Motherboard

If you get a post screen that means the board is most likely fine, if its a desktop motherboard all you have to do to wipe the password is clear the cmos, like this >>>>19e3610.jpg if you don't have a jumper (the green plastic cap) then remove the battery for 10 mins, make sure there is no mains power connected, this should wipe the password and all you have to do is set the time and date and your ready to format and install an OS

kind regards and please don't forget to rate us

Laptop won't run on ac power and keeps shutting down

Check that the AC power works, go to a repair shop and test a different one or have voltages checked with a multimeter.

If the AC adapter is fine, then it is usuall because AC socket solder joints on laptop are broken. In this case , it is a delicate repair, and must be done by an expert repairman.
