Question about Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer
Apparently an E 11 code has to do with the water pressure and length of time it takes to fill the washer. What am I looking for to correct the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Turn water supply off, and remove hoses, check and clean if required the wire gauze filters fitted in the valves..Before reconnecting hoses, check water pressure through the hoses
If still slow filling, and the pressure is o/k, then I would say the only solution is to replace valve(s) as the case may be.
Plz rate my solution.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Roger, thank you for your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided you would like to know what an E-11 error code means on your Frigidaire washer. An E-11 error code means that the fill time is too long. This could be a possible problem with your pressure sensor, water valve, or main control panel. If the water pressure is below 30 PSI then it will continue to display the error code of E-11. Also make sure the hoses are not restricted or blocked because this could cause the error code to display. I hope this information has been helpful to you. -Matt

Hello Geri Witkowski - I understand that your washer displayed E11. Typically error code E11 indicates that either the unit is taking too long to fill with water or there is a possible leak.
· Try resetting the unit by flipping the household circuit breaker off or unplugging it. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit.
· Is the incoming water flow normal? If it is, does the fill water continue to enter the washer? If yes, disconnect power from the unit. Did the water fill stop? If so, a service technician may need to check the pressure sensor or switch to determine if it needs replacement.
· If your water flow is abnormal, double-check water faucets to ensure they are in the "on" position. If on, your incoming water pressure may be above 30 PSI and could need adjusting. Check for any kinked or blocked water hoses or clogged water screens. If you've cleared the water screen and/or unblocked any kinked water hoses, and the problem still persists, it could possibly be a water inlet valve assembly.
If you have checked all of the above, the unit may need a main control board replacement. I would recommend contacting a qualified service technician to further assist you in diagnosing this issue.

Hello - Typically error code E10 indicates that it takes too long for water to fill. Contact a professional to run multiple tests to verify that the incoming water flow is normal and to check the electronic pressure sensor. Possibly might need to replace the main control board. Error E10 in Frigidaire washer means Long Fill. It means that the washer is taking a longer time to fill; it may be due to low water pressure, due to faulty pressure switch or due to faulty water inlet valve. Please try and clean the inlet filter screen. If this doesn't resolve your issue then check the connections at Water inlet valve. Make sure the connections at the fill valve are firm and check the continuity using multimeter. To access the fill valve take the two screws in the back that are connected. Now, pull the back of the cover towards you and lift it off. Check the three multicolored wires connected to the inlet housing that you have to remove. Next remove the two screws on the inlet housing. Now, pull the housing from the detergent cabinet then back towards it to remove the entire inlet unit. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
