The length of your equipment, even more than the scale of the model, is the most important factor in setting a minimum radius. The list below includes conventionally accepted minimums for each of the major scales.

  • Z Scale: 195 mm
  • N Scale: 9 3/4 inches
  • HO Scale: 15-22 inches
  • HOn3 Scale: 15 inches (narrow gauge)
  • S Scale: 20 - 30 inches
  • O Scale ("Toy"): 13.5 inches
  • O Scale ("Scale"): 72 inches
  • On3 Scale: 36 inches
  • G Scale: 24-44 inches

How do you fit th e Radius Atomic Bass 2 Earbuds in your ear? Which way is it supposed to curve?

You may need smaller covers so the inserts work. Generally, they should go in gently, then with a slight twist, fit snugly. If the pads are too big, you'll never get a comfortable fit.

How do I find the max and min value of a sine curve

The maximum value of the sine function is positive one, the minimum value is negative one. Within any limited range the maximum and minimum will fall between the two extremes.
If you have a graphing calculator, the easiest way to to find the maximum and minimum values of a sine curve is to plot it. Some calculators will even automatically find the max and min values. Others you'll have to eyeball it.
If you don't have a graphing calculator, you can calculate the value at a series of points and hone in the max and min values.
If you need further assistance, please reply to this post and specify the make and model of your calculator.

When the train is heading around the track, it stops on the curve, and will only start again, when you turn it off and back on??? Does this on both ends when turning the corner? Can you halp??? Tha

Check to see if the train is lifting off the track on the curve and the roller is not making contact with the center rail. Run the engine alone slowly and try both forward and backward.

We just got the Hogwarts express and it will not complete 1 loop without derailing or the cars becoming uncoupled.

Well you should probably check the radius of your curves. The Hogwarts Express has a minimum curve of O36 and on a tighter radius curve it will derail. I have found that the Hogwarts train runs better on fasttrack than standard O. You should also make sure the track is flat because if it isn't completely flat it derails. The train isn't designed well so it derails but if you run it slow you shouldn't have a lot of problems.
