I cannot send new emails or bring up contact list. Can you help

The screen freezes when I click on the address block in the email area. Sometimes the contact list comes up, but I cannot access it. Can you help ?

Probably you have some empty files into your adress book that blocks the access. Open your adress book from the dock or applications directory (you can find it by spotlight too) and erase the empty files (no names or no email adress)

The act of changing your email address is simple.
However, you can save yourself a lot of headaches by doing some planning before you begin. Just as with changing your home address, one of the main challenges with changing your email address is making sure that you do not loose any important contacts.
Another challenge to is avoiding bringing your old spam contacts with you.
A third challenge is to find an email address that fits your needs.

Gather your contacts into a single list.
Remember, that you probably have a lot more contacts than just the ones currently set up on your "favorite contacts" list on your email account.
Spend some time going through you email history and identify older contacts that you may not have used in a while, but which you do not want to loose.
Think about your needs before setting up a new email account.
Think about the kinds of attachments you like to send? Do you need higher capacity? Also think about what kind of interface your prefer.
Some prefer a simple, bare-bones interface, while others prefer something more elaborate.
Ask yourself if the address itself is important to you.
Some people are quite picky about this.
Ask yourself what you dislike about your current service.
This will help you to better pinpoint what you desire from your new service.
Check out your options.
There are a lot of free web-based email services out there.
These are great for some purposes, but if you need really high capacity, or require greater security, then you might want to look for a different type of service that you will need to pay for.

Check your Junk folder
1. Sign in to Outlook.com account.
2. Click on Junk on the left pane.
3. Check to see if the missing mail is in this folder.
4. If you see any messages that should have been delivered to the Inbox, click the Not Junk.
Check your Blocked sender list
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon.
2. Select More Mail Options .
3. Under "Preventing junk email", click Safe and blocked senders.
4. Click Blocked senders.
5. In the Blocked senders list, select the name or domain (the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign, such as outlook.com) that you want to receive emails from.
6. Click << Remove from list.
Add the email address to your Safe senders list
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon .
2. Select More Mail Options .
3. Under "Preventing junk email", click Safe and blocked senders.
4. Click Safe Senders.
5. In the text box, type in the email address or domain you'd like to always receive emails from.
6. Click Add to list >>.
Check your Email Rules
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon.
2. Select More Mail Options .
3. Click Rules for sorting new messages under "Customizing Outlook".
2. Perform one of the actions as per your requirement:

Recently you switch Hotmail to Outlook. Since then I can't have no more web, All is block and I Wonder why? What have I done wrong? Please I need help.

I think no any issue create because all function is same and i also used hotmail to outlook email used and also new version available. Or no change ID or password, just change look or services, but function is same. If you have problem link not open email not sent mail, account related issue, setting issue, or browsing issue just go to outlook help and search you own problem, there step by step problem solved or contact hotmail technician.

Your friend will need to add you to his contacts list and make sure that your email address is added to his spam exemptions list! This will bypass the spam filter and bring your message to his Inbox.

I have a problem not to receive messages?


The best thing to do first is check with the sender to make sure that they actually sent the message.
If they have sent it, here's a list of conditions that will stop that email from getting through to you. If any of them describes your situation, you'll find instructions on how to resolve the issue just below. Hopefully, one of these will do the trick!
Incorrectly typed email address
Is the sender using your correct email address? Just one mistyped letter will cause an email to go to the wrong address or make it undeliverable. Ask them to double-check that they entered your address correctly.
Sender's email not functioning properly
Can this sender successfully send messages to other people? The problem could be on their end, with sending. Ask them to check.
Inbox needs refreshing ( Yahoo! Mail Classic)
New email often arrives while you're writing or reading another email. The all-new Yahoo! Mail updates your Inbox for you, so if you use it, you'll always see new mail when it arrives. But in Yahoo! Mail Classic, you won't see this new mail in your Inbox until you Refresh or Reload the page, or return to the Welcome Screen, or click Check Mail.
Note: Yahoo! Messenger shows an alert each time a new email arrives.
One of your filters could be directing the email into a folder
If you've set up filters, the message from this sender might be going directly to a different folder from your Inbox. Here's how to check your filters:
  • Click Options in the upper-right, and select More Options.
  • Click Filters.
  • See anything that might be capturing the mail you've been looking for?
  • Note: Messages in Trash can be deleted at any time. Once messages are deleted, they're gone forever, and can't be retrieved.
You're forwarding your mail to another email address
If you're forwarding your mail, it's going to another email address. Here's how to check:

  • Under "Management", click POP Access & Forwarding.

You're blocking this user
The sender's address might be on your Blocked Addresses list. Mail from blocked senders doesn't arrive or bounce-it's simply discarded. Here's how to check your Blocked Addresses list:

  • Under "Spam", click Block Addresses.
  • Scan the list for the address of the sender. If you see it, click it, then click Remove Block.
There's a delay in delivery
Messages are usually delivered within a few minutes. Very rarely, they are delayed while in transit. This is usually due to problems on the sender's mail server, heavy Internet traffic, or routing problems. Unfortunately, aside from waiting, there's no way to know whether a message has been delayed or whether it has been rendered undeliverable. If a sender can re-send it, have them do that.
No matter what the cause, the best solution is to ask the sender to re-send the message.

if this doesnt work, then you have to get in contact with your internet service provider (ISP) , call them and spwak with the tech support to review your email account - let them know what is occuring

If you click on the arrow to the right of the NEW tab, on the contacts screen, you get a drop down menu. chose "email Message", it should bring up a blank email with no email address. I just did it to be sure and it works for me. If you hit the Email tab, you will get a blank screen with the highlighted name in the "TO" line.

Addresses in outlook express


When adding Contacts to your Outlook Express, add the Display Name and Email address (double check that the email address is accurate) then, press the save button at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side. By pressing the Add button, you are telling the program that you wish to add a second email address for this person (Contact) and this may be what is causing your issue when trying to access contacts.
