Question about Apple iPod nano

Please someone Help me with my NANO..I think I deleted...

Hi Everyone...

AHHH...HELP! I have an IPOD nano...it was working perfectly until about 1 month ago when I decided to clean up my computer and I deleted a program called "apple" something, which to my knowledge now, is the hardware for my nano to be recognized when I plug it into my laptop. I would like to reinstall this program, does anyone know where I can find this hardware. I have reset the phone and then it says it cannot find the hardward and allows me to put a CD in or find it online...unfortunately, I don't know where to find this program. ITUNES still works, my songs are still on there...my nano will not charge, does not come up in Itunes, and well, I need to figure out how to add this program back to my computer as I know that I deleted it...(stupid girl trying to clean up computer....)

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you for your response....so before I do this, or when I do this, will it wipe out all my songs and pictures I already have on it?

    :-)

I will wait for your answer before I try this process.

Deleted some files and now unable to play songs

simply you need to delete everything on the ipod and then uninstall it and then reinstall it. this will replace those folders, that yes, you did stupidly remove, and it should be no more than a ten minute task even with replacing the data.

Use iTunes 8 to sync or delete songs, photos, etc. Just connect the iPod to computer, download iTunes 8 from the internet, open iTunes 8, and then double-click on the icon of the iPod Nano to Sync files to your Nano.
The manual for the iPod Nano can be found at www.apple.com/support

IPod nano (3rd generation) not syncing

What seems to have happened is that either iTunes or the iPod folder has become corrupt. To solve this, download the very latest version of iTunes, install it, connect your iPod. If it wants to update the software on your iPod do this. Then on the main ipod page on iTunes click the button that says Restore. Choose the bottom most option if given any then go ahead and restore. You should now be able to sync as normal.

All the best

MY IPOD WONT PLAY MUSIC!!!

Go to www.apple.com to reacquire manual - it does help - this is a db corruption, which requires firmware, which is one of the 5 R's

Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore
Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If
one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems.
â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below.
â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes.
â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates
installed.
â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web.
â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 50.

This is the advice I tell everyone.. Don't use the iTunes library!
There are times when you do need to use it, but 98% of everything you need to do can be done right on the iPod.

When you plug-in your iPod, you should see an icon for it appear in the left window pane. You can actually edit the song info, sort, categorize, or whatever right there.

The only thing you can't do is get iTunes to automatically download the artwork for you. But, to be honest, even when I do use the library to get my artwork, the artwork never "sticks" when I move it to the iPod, and I end up manually adding it every time.

I've had an iPod in some form for at least three years now. I've never had a problem editing directly on the iPod itself, and I don't miss the library one bit.

Hope this helps.
