Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
I have added a media card to my pearl, and have put songs on it through my computer. When I open my music on the phone it only has two options; device memory and preloaded music (no option for media card....)This is odd since when I hoop up my pearlt to my comp it regognizes the media card in my phone and lets me add music to the media card...........
Connect the BlackBerry to your computer.
Open My Computer, and open Properties of the drive.
What does it show under File System?
The BlackBerry cannot read NTFS, so make sure that it is not an NTFS file system. if it is, move your files off the card, and format it as FAT, then put the files back on the card after the format.
Otherwise, without the BlackBerry connected to the computer, go to Options (or Setting > Options, depending on your Theme),
Then opem Media Card, or Memory (depending on your Theme and software version).
What does it say about the card? Does it say that it is connected, or that there is no card?

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
