My dell w3201c tv displays "no video signal" when i power it on

Coaxial cable does not carry video signals but rather rf-signals
To use coax you will have to tune like you are searching for a signal from your aerial..
If you prefer to use video then you will have to use a video cable either rca or hdmi. you can then choose video or hdmi from the remote

Does the coaxial output equivalent to a standard yellow cord video cord? Trying to transmit Direct TV signal to another TV via a RF Link.

Typically the coax is an rf signal. The "yellow cord " is a video signal and never the twain shall meet without an rf modulator. rf contains all video, audio, and sync signal. Video contains just video, no audio. If you use the yellow, and the white and the red you will have video and both audio channels.

On our Durabrand DVD/Vcr Combo, I get picture, but no sound..I'm using a S video as conectors!

S video connector is used only for video, you need to connect the audio separately via the RCA audio connectors or via digital coaxial or optical connector.

You can read more on S video standard here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-Video

Also see the related topics on audio, maybe you should consult the user manuals for your dvd unit and the amplifier that you use to get more info, but normally the sound can be connected via these connectors on the rear panel of dvd units:

- main left and right analog signal out RCA connectors (2 channel stereo signal - amplifier set to analog signal)

- main left and right, sub, center, surround left and right analog signal out connectors (multichannel surround signal - amplifier set to analog signal)

- coaxial digital signal out RCA connector (a single cable that takes the stereo or surround signal to the amplifier in a coded digital form - you need to set the amplifier to the digital signal mode to enable this kind of signal)

- optical digital signal out connector (same as the coaxial digital output, the difference is that the signal is in the form of light pulses instead of electrical pulses - the amplifier should be set to the digital signal mode as well)

Hope this helps somehow - if it doesn't, post me some feedback, perhaps a brief description of the units that you want to interconnect...

Hooking up vcr and wii game with out disconnecting one or other

depending on your vcr (really need a description of its input and outputs) you may be able to connect the game to the VCR's inputs and just run the signal through it.
An 'S-video' cable stands for Separate video, abbreviated S-Video and also known as Y/C (or erroneously, S-VHS and "super video") is an analogue video signal that carries the video data as two separate signals (brightness and colour), unlike composite video which carries the video signals mixed in one line. S-Video, as most commonly implemented, carries 480i or 576i resolution video, i.e. standard definition video. S-Video does not carry audio on the same cable.
