Printer error fuser temp

Hi,

This is a common error especially if you have power surges or outages, before calling in follow the following steps:

  1. Press Down Arrow
  2. Press *
  3. press #
  4. select SOS1
  5. switch the first digit from a 0 to a 1
  6. press OK
  7. Press the Red Stop button
Now you need to clear the error
  1. press the down arrow
  2. Press #
  3. press the letter T ( on the keyboard of the printer)
It should reboot itself although it may not, if it doesn't then turn off the switch then back on. you should see some black bars flashing on teh screen. This clears the error and wil help determine if the fuser is actually broken. Before you print and start using it you have to set it back to operational mode by doing the following steps

  1. Press the Down Arrow
  2. Press *
  3. Press #
  4. select "SOS1"
  5. Change first digit from 1 back to 0
  6. press OK
  7. Press the red stop button
Those are the steps required to clear the fuser temp error from the okidata support desk

How to Connect an Okidata Microline 321 to a new computer

If you have the software I would install it and see if it works if it does not Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} you may have to install or update drivers Most of the drivers/software I get are from a web site driverguide.com you need to fill out a free registration then search for the driver you need download it in a format you can use install it and then most times reboot the computer

Okidata Microline 30 Turbo dot matrix

The problem your having is a spacer motor. It's located under the carriage that holds the ribbon/printhead. The part number is 56513701. Available at Seattle Platen - Dale 1800-221-2388.

Here's a free copy of the Okidata 320T service manual that will walk you through testing and verfying before ordering the replacement part.

If this helped you, please hit me up with a FIXYA. Thanks.

MY PRINTERS KEEPS PRINTING OVER TOP OF ITS SELF

Hi amyellis, please click on this link below which will take you to okidata ML320Turbo's page. http://my.okidata.com/PP-ML320Turbo.nsf?
Download the pdf manual for you're ML320Turbo.
For English click here: http://my.okidata.com/mandown.nsf/1fe7d58578ca7f99852569af0042834b/e08d475cb4b6bf4a852569590039ffc6/$FILE/ae320tug_07.pdf
Once opened click the + sign next to Index. Than click the + sign next to Paper. Than click the + sign next to Paper jams. Follow the instructions to clean out paper build up within the printer. This is the most likely reason the paper is not moving.
Within the pdf file in the upper left hand corner is a small icon that looks like a gray floppy diskette. Click it & save the manual to you'r PC drive. You may need it from time to time.

Good Luck!

Okidata Model# GE5253P

An online manual here: http://my.okidata.com/PP-ML320.nsf?opendatabase There is probably a top of form setting which needs to be checked & corrected. I assume you've checked tab/margin settings in your software & printer setup?
