Best to use the correct IC as the ones you mention are way off what you need. It's an old IC now but if you do a Google search for suppliers you should be able to get one. I've seen them on Ebay and Amazon.

Hi I ve had the cd10 for a year and it's been used twice . The problem is the amp powers on with out the popping speaker sound the led is showing red which is the powers on but get no sound what so...

Hi there. You may have a blown fuse.Unplug the amp then undo the screws that hold it all together.Remove the wires off the speaker and put an AA battery across the speaker connections(of the speaker). You will hear a clicking sound if the speaker is ok.If not then the speaker is blown. This could also damage the circuitry.Check the fuse(s) and replace with exactly the same rating.Assemble and test if still no go then the circuitry is faulty. You could then take it to a repair shop and ask for a quote to repair it.
It might be cheaper to buy a new unit.

When i press the distortion button, there is no sound. if i fiddle with it it gives sound, but i need to hold it in a certain position. clean works fine

Either the button is defective, or there may be bad soldering or a crack in the circuit board where it mounts. You will have to open the unit to repair it.

If you don't find a crack or bad soldering, try to spray a little CRC226 into the switch portion of the button. This is availablle at Home Depot in the electrical department.

Want to take it apart

Usually there are screws, sometimes including those holding the handle that support the amp. Sometimes there are a couple from the sides... USUALLY the corner protector screws are not involved.

Hint, the amp is easier to handle and remove by setting on the side.

Hi im in Argentina and i accidentally pluged in my amp without an adapter now it doesnt work what needs to be fixd?

The power supply is blown. Argentina is 220V I believe. I have never seen a power supply schematic for this however being that it is low power it is a linear supply not switching. Either the rectifier diodes are blown out or possibly the output capacitors are blow due to approx double voltage. If you try this yourself be careful otherwise get a new amp. Good Luck

I am trying to source a copy of the user manual for a Marshall MG10CD amplifier. Can you help?

MOST of these small amps are so SIMILAR to the competitors that you can get the users manual for one and use it for another. They are not as the saying goes, "rocket science".

That being said, try for instance the Fender Frontman manual. Here is a site for download:

You will find that even the scematic diagrams are quite similar between the brands. Let's face it, they can't re-engineer much as there is little profit.

MOST of these amps use one of the TDA family of chip audio power amps.
