What IC's uses the control of the focus motors

I'm assuming you will change these ICs yourself and that's why you're asking. If you have access to the circuit board, then you should be able to find some numbers on the IC which you think is blown. If you can pull that IC and look at it's underside you may be able to find a number you can search on the internet for. Or you can find a number on the circuit board itself and maybe find the company that made that board and contact them to find out the IC you need. You can probably find an IC match as long as the pins are in the same order and the voltages are the same. Good luck!

I have a kenmoer 66516039402 dishwasher. It is stuck in clean mode the clean light just flashes and the dishwasher will not start a new wash.what can I do to fix it.

Re: clean light blinks seven times on Kenmore Dishwasher model # 66516034401

After reading online and studying the parts diagram/list (included with paperwork that came with washer) and troubleshooting guide/wiring schematic (located under the bottom front kick panel) I determined it could only be 5 things, all easy to look at and check when you pull out the dishwasher (remove racks first and cut power via the circuit breaker).

They are heating element, wiring check for burn marks/melting), high limit thermostat (mounted on bottom of tub against tub, detects if tub overheats), thermistor (screw in mount near motor, detects process temp inside dishwasher, and the control panel. Unfortunately, I started buying and replacing the parts piecemeal (first high limit thermostat, then thermistor, then heating element, even though it tested good). Only then did I remove the panel (top 6 screws inside door, no need to remove the whole door panel) and check the circuit board. After separating the circuit board from its plastic case that covers the back of the board, I saw that the back of the board was badly burned/blackened about the size of a fifty cent piece around the heater circuit relay (this was not visible from the front). Bingo. I should have done a comprehensive check first and save $100 on parts that were probably good. When ordering online, the circuit board part was changed, perhaps to an improved part if the relay burning out is a common problem. Good luck.

My paper shredder, Royal 15 mx does not go in reverse. Opened unit and know circuit is getting power since led light goes on. I believe the issue is with the circuit board which is not acting as a...

Dont know if even Royal will have a schematic for the PCB,...most of these are "replace/throw away" pcb's in consumer machines...anyway you can contact Royal at 1-800-524-0799 and see what they say.

I burned up some resistors in my klh asw120 # r52 r48 and r49 i need the values to them so i can replace them they are too burnt to tell the color code please get back to me with the values! Thanks JASON

This is a pretty common problem with this sub.

Here's a solution that I posted earlier this year, including schematics for the upper and lower circuit boards. Be sure to check the circuit board revisions to make sure they match my schematics.

I have Whirlpool control board part #8267371. The problem is that the dishwasher does not complete a cycle. A green light on the door will flash. From what I understand it indicates a failure in the heater...

Yeah, I'm in the middle of that, too. There's a thermal fuse you can check with a meter just above the control panel inside the front door. It should be 0 ohms. Then it's the control board, I guess. Looking for the same one myself right now. I'm going to resolder the solder joints on the board and see if that fixes it.
Yup. That fixed it. Now to see how long it lasts.
The joints on the relays are hard to solder, as well as the ones to the wire terminals, because it has a polyurethane coating. You have to burn or scrape through that and just remelt the solder.

Wiring to the Meade LX-50 RA Magellan decoder has separated from the circuit board in 4 places. Need schematic for the board to resolder. Any help here?

I have never seen a scematic published on the internet for the old Magellen hand controller. However there is a fellow that repairs LX200 and LX90 hand controllers who probably does have a schematic.

Go to the LX90 or LX200 Yahoo Group, sign up and post a message asking for help from Ron Sampson. You can send him the controller and it's VERY likely that he can repair it a nominal cost.

Hope that helps you-- by the way he repaired our Astronomy club's old LX200 Classic hand controller which had burned out circuits, and can even repair the keyboards and the screen.

Resistor # c113 is not getting a reading and post

C113 is a capacitor so voltage differential is nill. The Triac To-220 can BTB10-600BW, in slot Q6, has as pin 2 it's ground. Pin across the heat sink tab and pin 2 and you will see continuity. Seach for NTE5637 as equivalent. Did you get the voltage at pin 1? Pin 3 is the gate.

A chip on the circuit board started smoking

The component sounds like a resistor, and the fact that it was attached to a heat sink means its a power handling resistor. You said it was burning, so this means that whatever it is attached to is drawing too much current. From what you are saying a component on a board is drawing too much current and is causing another component (the 1 ohm resistor) to burn. My question is what board is this (I am suspecting the deflection or the HV power supply). Please post a picture of the board in question. That way I have a visual guide as to the board and if I can find the schematic, or if you can supply the schematic I'll be able to at least give a better diagnosis of this problem.

Thank you,

PG won't release schematic diagrams. Are the burned components resistors? If so, what are their circuit board designations (Rxyz)?
