Transmission problem of a washer Whirlpool model LXR7244JQO

Good morning, it,s about a Whirlpool topload washer model LXR7244JQO. D'not want to spin. It wash and rinse but when it come to spin the bowl d'not spin. Only the water run out.

Good morning.
The problem lays in the transmission. From outside when you turn the universal (connector) the bowl with the brakes don't turn with the main shaft. When you open the transmission, remove the clip of the big plastic gear. After you lift up the plastic gear you will notice that one or two of the plastic parts are worn down. By replacing you will solve the problem.

the motor coupling is bad to get to it you can lean you machine back and you will see the pump take the 2 clips off it then there is 2 on the motor you will have to take the screws out of these once you get the clips off the motor the motor will come down and the motor coupling is on your motor shaft and transmission shaft

I have a toploading whirlpool washer LLR9245BQ0. When it reaches the spin cylce it makes a clanging sound, like it would be off balance but its not.

Whirlpool washing machine won't spin after rinse cycle


there is a coupling between the motor and transmission that has cracked. with the crack in the coupling the transmission cant spin as fast as the motor causeing the loud noise. replace coupling to solve problem
