It could not have left the area. enlist the help of a youngster, they have better eyes, and offer a reward that will be sure to get it found. Trust me it will be easier then trying to buy a new one.

You may need a small pair of pliers. use a piece of fabric or leather so you dont scratch the metal which can cause a "burr" that can snag the thread as you are sewing..

936 Huskylock needle bar does not move up and down.

First, make sure the machine is engaged to sew. some machines,
have a knob inside the flywheel on the left side that disconnect the sewing mechanism to wind a bobbin without the needle bar moving.

How do you sew with three needles on huskylock 936. I can't seem to find a third spot for a needle.

A 936 has 5 needle positions. C & D are in the back position and AB&E are in the front position. Check your user manual for diagram. you can view, print, or download the manual from the viking website - http://www.manuals.husqvarnaviking.com

Viking 936 Machine is not cutting fabric, but continues to sew. What can cause this?

More than likely the cutter/knives need replacing or are not coming up all the way to catch the fabric. Put a piece of fabric on the plate just before the cutters and turn the hand wheel slowly. Are the cutters coming up above the fabric and moving to below the fabric to complete the cut? If not, open the front cover/door and turn the hand wheel watching the cutters' movements. You should see the gears that travel up and down. Many times this area becomes packed with lint/fabric and binds the movement. I usually take a large needle and dig out the lint/fabric or whatever else is stuck in that area. You'll be surprised how much you will remove from that area.

How to fix a broken Needle clamp on viking 936

I don't know of a way to repair the needle clamp. It will more than likely have to be replaced. The local authorized husqvarna viking dealer should be able to service the machine. You can find the nearest dealer from husqvarna viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us

I cannot get the needles to stay in my Huskvarna Huskylock 936 serger. How can I get them to stay in?

I would say it is 2 things, first you don't have the screws loosened enough to get the needles up and in far enough, then make sure you have tightened them up enough, this should solve your problem. Also, the flat of the needle goes toward the back of the machine.

Huskylock 936 error code

This will also occur if the "needles" and "loopers" lock up as though threads are tangled and binding the machine. If needles and loopers move freely when manually turning the handwheel counter clockwise, you probably need to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

Huskvarna Viking quilters 850 I keep getting

it is a problem your tech can fix, ( should have been done when he had the covers off) but take it back in and tell him to adjust the sensor on the cutter so it doesn't rub and to clean the sensor. this will fix the problem

Viking 936 uneven stitches with loops

Sounds like either the loopers need adjusting or there is a twist in the needle bar. These are all things that have to be done by a certified husqvarna viking service technician via an authorized HV dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.
