The Electric toothbrush heads are designed just like normal toothbrushes, so it should be changed in every 3 months. You will find color change indicators and reminders to change the brush heads, make it easy to remember.
You should check the top 5 electric toothbrush reviews at GroomNStyle.com.

According to the Oral-B website, you should replace the head of your electric toothbrush every 3 months. There are exceptions though. For example, if you suffer from gum problems, then you should replace your toothbrush head every 4-6 months. On the other hand, if you have very healthy gums and teeth and you are using a high quality electric toothbrush, you can probably use it for few extra months (around 6 months).

The battery seems not to have enough power for it the toothbrush to operate normally.

There is such a thing as new batteries, however, many or most electric toothbrushes do not have any way to replace those batteries, they are made to throw away once the batteries die.
If you can get it apart, you would see that, but you might have to break it to take it apart. Also, there is not much guarantee that replacement batteries are available.
Sorry.
God bless your efforts.

Do electric toothbrushes require a different amount of toothpaste compared than manual toothbrushes?

No, you should put the same amount of toothpaste on all types of toothbrushes. You should put enough so you can clean your teeth well.

What are the advantages of manual toothbrushes over electric toothbrushes?

The main advantage of manual toothbrushes is the cost. They are much cheaper than electric toothbrushes. Whereas an electric toothbrush can cost you $50-$100, manual toothbrushes can be bought for just a few bucks. Another advantage is that manual toothbrushes come in different sizes and colors, so there's a larger variety to choose from.

What are the advantages of electric toothbrushes?

Electric toothbrushes are an excellent tool to keep your teeth clean and healthy. They offer many advantages:

They allow you to remove plaque more efficiently and quicker than manual toothbrushes.

You don't need to brush hard in order to get good results. This means that you are much less likely to injure your gums.

People who suffer from physical conditions like arthritis find electric toothbrushes as a great replacement to manual toothbrushes because they are easier to grip and you don't need to use as much physical power to get your teeth cleaned (the powered brushes do the cleaning).

It is more fun to brush with electric toothbrushes compared to manual toothbrushes, especially for children.

How to clean norelco 8846XL shaver ?

You will need to disassemble the heads and brush them out. You can soak the parts in rubbing alcohol if they are gummed up. This will loosen the material up so that it can be brushed away. An old toothbrush works well for this.
To disassemble the heads you will find a tutotial video at shaveroutlet.com. Click on link below and scroll down for video

My electric toothbrush doesnt work any more even though I have only used it a dozen times. I have obviously tried to charge it, but with no result.I disposed of all the packaging when I started using it...

Depending on the type and quality of the toothbrush, it may not be able to get too wet (washing it under a sink.) However, most electronic toothbrushes are waterproof, and that's only one issue. The button on the toothbrush may have some sort of interference, some wires could be damaged. Also, if your electronic toothbrush is anything like mine (a pretty old one, I'm not sure if they use the same system any more.) It will have magnets that vibrate the brush inside of the toothbrush head attachment. If you're able to, try removing the head of the toothbrush and looking inside to repair anything that looks out of place.
