SOURCE: dont kno how to save game

To save you should be able to press start and go down to the save button on the bottom of the items menu.
Press L or R to scroll to other menus if you aren't already at the items menu.

If you are unable to save, it may be due to the battery within the game having run dry.
This is a common issue with cartridge based video games like Game Boy Advance ones.
However for you, this may not be the case.

It's known to be a really great game. Have fun.

SOURCE: TLZ: The Minish Cap Problem

Chances are that the file genuinely is corrupt, there are a number of ways that files can go corrupt, the most probable way involves the visible metallic leads on the Game Boy Advance game. Over time, these leads can get dirty, and dirty leads do not conduct as well as clean leads obviously enough. When the GBA writes data to the game pack and it loses power to the game pack part way through, it doesn't write that data right leaving you with corrupt data. To clean the leads on circuitry, I would suggest using some rubbing alcohol with Q-tips. Before trying it in your game device again, make sure that it has air dried off first, this should take about a minute for the alcohol to evaporate. If the problem wasn't the leads, chances are that the game pack has expired high amounts of pressure, heat or moisture and is unrepairable.

Corrupted files, how do you repair?

Can you still play the game ok? If the game you are trying to play wont start up, then the disk could be damaged. If it is downloaded content, then the file could be corrupt and require a more stable connection to install. You may have to delete everything about the said game including offline files to reinstall. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Game will not load after being touching the start button.

You can try wiping the data on the cartridge completely. I looked in the manual and there's no information on how to do this. It's usually something involving holding down two or three buttons while starting the game. If you can wipe all the data it should be like you have a new game. My suggestion is to call Nintendo. I'm sure they'll do their best to help you out. Don't bother mentioning to them that the game is used, they might not be pleased about that.
