Pay attention to your position when you are lifting heavy objects and let your lower body do most of the work. Squat down before you lift and keep your back as straight as you can. Do not twist at the waist and always push rather than pull a heavy object.

How do i build a lifting mechanism by using a pully and gears

There are - literally - a million ways to approach that question. Could you be a little more specific? What's the project? How heavy is the object to be lifted? How high do you need to lift it? How fast must it be lifted? What's your power source? How much horsepower is available from that power source? How large a budget are we working with? How flexible are the requirements? Would ramping or pneumatics or hydraulics also perhaps be suitable? Is this for a school project? Is it purely academic? What are you doing up at this hour? 8)

Cancel printing and turn the machine off. Then remove the jammed paper or object that blocks printhead.

NOTE
If you have not removed the protection, follow the procedures below.
1.Open the output paper tray.
2.Lift Scanning Unit (cover) until it stops.
The support of the scan unit is automatically locked.
3.Remove the orange protective tape (A) and the protective packaging (B).
4.Ensuite, slightly lift the scanner unit (cover), fold the support of the scanner unit and then gently close the Scanning Unit (Cover).

The plastic screen isn't broken, but when I turn it on, it appears as broken.

if there are no visible marks or cracks on the plastic case itself then it sounds like the LCD screen behind the plastic protective screen is cracked or damaged (especially if its been dropped, or had a lot of pressure put on it e.g. left in a pocket when sitting down, heavy object on it), if its new i would consider taking it back with the receipt for a replacement.

otherwise it will need someone with some repair skills to replace the screen.

We had a paper jam in our Epsom CX7800 printer. We got an error message E-90. We trued turning off and on our printer and it did not help.

You may have a foreign object blocking the path. Move the slide switch to envelope.

Use a piece of heavy stock (backing of a writing pad) put through backwards in the path of the paper output. Be careful of sensors(little black tabs) for the ink head, on either side. If you break them you will have bigger problems.

Lift the scanner assembly while tilting on its back and push the stock to free the foreign object out til you can grab it. Do all this with the printer unplugged.

When I try to print on A4 paper the Canon printer pulls on the right side of the paper only and it jams. I can still print on the small sheets (A5?) or on my 4 x 6 photo paper.

Check to see if this will affect your guarantee and if so would probably not go ahead with it.

Protect yourself from shock by disconnecting the power cord from the back of the Canon printer.

Unhinge the back access panel of the printer. .
Look through the opened back panel and look for paper or any other object that should not be there. Remove any paper or obstacle you find jammed there.
Close the back access panel. Make sure that it latches back into place.
Find the front or top access panel. This is the panel you would lift to change ink cartridges. Open this access panel and look for paper or any other object that should not be there
. Remove any paper or object you find jammed here. If you find paper pull slowly or the paper will rip and create a major problem.
Close the front access panel. Make sure that it latches back in place.

Put the power back on..
