Shorted mosfet and transistor plus 4 burnt resistors
I HAVE A LG910 MONITOR WITH SHORTED FQPF19N20C MOSFET(Q719) AND TRANSISTOR(Q702) ALSO 4 BURNT RESISTORS CANNOT TELL THE VALUES. PLEASE IF POSSIBLE ANY FURTHER CHECKS I HAVE TO DO IF NEW PARTS ARE FITTED.THANKING YOU

Re: shorted mosfet and transistor plus 4 burnt resistors
Hi.. u first check out the board completely
and replace the items which have got burnt,
make sure that u are replacing it with the
correct values,it willdefinitely.
This will solve ur problem.

I was looking for the same part and discovered that it is an AP2761I
(capital i not one at the end). Documentation on it can be found at
I haven't yet found a supplier as, in this Dell E153FPf 15" LCD
monitor, neighbouring components R856, C856 and R861 are so burnt out
that I don't know what values to replace them with. If in return you could tell
me the values of components near your AP2761i-A, I would appreciate it.
I have repaired various LG monitor & they all seem to suffer the same problem with the led flashing. The fault is fixed by replacing Q719 which is a Mosfet IRFS640 & C744 100uf100v cap, also check caps in power supply a couple of 220uf63v pop from the bottom. I have had the line output transistor s/c.If its the one Im thinking of, to take the back off . Tip the screen on its face & with a pair of long nose pliers wedge them into the clip at the bottom & use a flat blade screwdriver to prise the bottom slightly away. Then place the monitor upright using your screwdriver you have to pop the top. Push 2 inches from each corner. You have to push hard. Good luck.
When power ON, ther is only a colour patch appears on the middle of the screen . I observed some resistors and three transistors in horizontal sections were burnt.
I cannot read the real values of them because they are burnt.
Please kindly can you tell me those real values in that section.
You have to check what could cause these resistors to be burnt. It might be because of caps or IC. Unfortunately, I don't have this type of circuit board. If you cannot find it, try with the same value of resistors that are placed close to these fault resisters.
The horizontal output transitor is always connected to the primary winding of the flyback transformer (via collector) and also to the horizontal deflection coil via an electrolytic capacitor.
The most likely suspect for damaging the transistor is the fylback transformer. In some countries there are electronic stores that test flyback transformer by winding a few turns on the ferrite core and applying a test voltage. This test will only test the secondary.
The primary winding is difficult to test for turn to turn short because the resistance is quite low and you do not know the 'good' resistance.
