Should you clean out your ears with Q-Tips (cotton buds)? I always thought it was a good idea but someone told me you should just leave ears alone.

Although people like to use Q-tips to clean out their ear wax, they should just leave it alone as it's the ear's mechanism for self-cleaning. If you have a build up of wax you can see your doctor but otherwise you can just leave your ears to clean themselves.

I seldom do morning exercise, but I always lose my earphone when I am running,so what should I do?

I'm no expert, but I have a few ideas:
  • Try wearing one of those stretchy head bands to hold your ear buds in. (if you aren't using ear buds, you might try them out)
  • If it's cold, you could always try using some of those fancy ear warmers.
  • Many retail stores carry relatively inexpensive ear buds that actually wrap around the ear to keep them in. For example, the "Philips SHS3200BK/37 Flexible Earhook Headphones." I have never used them, the model is only intended to describe what I'm talking about.

Cd player will not load any cd's

I found that although it says never touch the lense , if its not working what have you got to lose by trying it ? get an absolutely clean cotton ear bud and wet it with boiled water(cooled) and very gently wet the lense and leave it wet for a minute or two then with another dry clean ear bud dry it off but don't rub it or put any pressure on the lense either downward or sideways the objective is only to remove the drop of water you previously put on it . Mine plays fine again

Louder in one ear than the other

There is a possibility that your earphones need cleaning. Take off the tips and gently brush the metallic mesh with some cloth. Then dip each earpiece into drop of alcohol (you need to dip mesh only, not the whole earpiece). Then wipe it clean with cotton bud or something similar. Next, dip your earpieces the same way into drop of hydrogen peroxide and leave them there for few minutes. After that, wipe them again.
I used this method on my ie8 and it really helped.

DISC SKIPPING ON MY JVC OR RSQ TRIPLE TRAY KARAOKE MACHINE THANKS SHANE

Hi Shane, sounds like a dirty or worn laser. If memory serves there are two screws on each side and two on the upper rear. Once the lid is off you should be able to see cd laser. If so you need a cotton bud ( ear plug ) and a dash of Isoproponol ( from any chemist )...make sure unit is switched off...soak end of bud in isoproponol and wipe over laser ensuring it is clean..leave for 30 minutes and switch on and put disk in to check..hope this helps..

I have a PS3, and in the past few months it would randomly quit playing games. sometimes it would feeze in the middle of the game, then it got to the point that it would freeze at start up of the game,...

Hello, you haven't been handling your device with care. Please, avoid touching the readable part of your cds with your hand. Get you lens cleaned. For me, I use water to clean any of my lenses. My trick: Use a cotton bud (for the ear), dip the cotton bud partially into clean water, Do as if you are flapping the cotton bud, in order to remove the water droplets. Use the cotton bud to clean your lens very gently. Next use the other dry end of the cotton bud (which should be very neat) to finally clean the lens. Leave you device for 5 minutes, then try your neat cds. Sure, this helps, and dont forget to rate me. Thanks a lot

I have replace the ink cartiges but the window is still showing empty cartriges and will not print

Good day.
Print cartridge contact points (the one with series of small golden dots) are very sensitive. Remove again the cartridges. Turn-off the printer. Get some cotton buds and an household alcohol. Wet the tips of the cotton buds and clean the contact points of the cartridges and the cartridge bays. Return the cartridges. Power on the printer and test.

Good luck.

The cd player does not recognize when a cd is in it. I keeps on saying''no disc''

HELLO
I think the problem here lies with the laser/optical block. Let's try the obvious first. Has the lens ever been cleaned in the time you have had the machine? It may need cleaning and the best way is with a cotton bud and some isopropyl alcohol. You'll have to take the cover off the machine to do this and I ALWAYS say that if you are not confident to this yourself - get someone who is.
Wet the cotton bud (not too much) get rid of any excess. Gently clean the lens using a circular motion then by using the dry end of the cotton bud gently dry it off. Now, if this does not work you may have to consider the possibility the laser is defective and the only cure is to have the laser replaced. BUT BE ADVISED. A laser replacement will not be cheap and I would say if your player is 10 years old or more then it will be just as cost effective to buy a new CD player.
GOOD LUCK!
