try to look on the jumper settings on the motherboard before you upgrade your proccessor maybe they need to be adjusted.tryb to put back the one wich was there and see what happens.how many beeps does your computer makes when you switch in on?if it makes more than one then your proccessor is not compatible with the board.a computer should beep once whenevever its switched on

If you have no display is sounds like you forgot to attatch power to your graphics card? (6pin or 8pin?)
