You should test your vehicle tracking device at least twice a year to ensure it is in good working order. If your unit is not working, the tracking company will not be able to track your vehicle.

GPS won't fully reset

Resetting will not delete tracks - you must delete the track(s) individually. Your manual is here. Turn to page 26 and read "Using Tracks" to learn how to delete them.

Is it possible to remove the tracking devise?

The tracking unit is well hidden thus it is very difficult to find and remove it on your own and it can only be deactivated by your tracking control center.

Where did they install the tracking devise on my vehicle?

The tracking device can be fitted to a number of places on your vehicle. For security reasons, the unit and its location won't be identified, even if you are the vehicle owner.

When I synced the music onto my MP3 player and disconnected the devise, the MP3 pleyer shows "No Files" Why is the music not on the devise?

Most situations like this are due to the music being in the wrong format. It will say on the packaging what format it needs to be in and then you will need to convert your library to that format. If your music playback application doesn't support this conversion you can download itunes for free and use that to convert all your tracks

Well Robert, the main solution to this is the firmware. You need to set the MP3 player on to "Disk Mode" and check for any corrupted files or additional files that you didn't install originally. Like I tell all my clients, It's not whats added to the MP3 player, it's whats taken away. If you can't seem to find your original firmware onto your MP3 device, you need to install a new one, or check for additional firmware that you didn't install. Try backing up all your files before you attempt to install any new firmware onto your MP3 device.

not a solution, but have since found that using all the same hardware I can connect successfully to other pc's that have sonicstage installed. Sony suggested replacing the cable.
