Can't put back the waste container of Canon CLC 2620
I removed the waste container and emptied it as I do not have a spare. I am now unable to put it back as something seems to be blocking it from fitting into the hole. Also, the ridges on the back of the cover do not coincide with the blue lock/unlock handle, it looks as though it should be in a completely different place.

Make sure the plug to seal the tonercontainer is placed at the operational possition on the container and notin the possition to seal the container. The container must be open to allow the waste toner conveyer to shift inside the container.

On the right side of the copier towards the back lower corner you will find the cover to the waste toner tank, a single screw holds it in place, remove the cover panel, behind it is a large plastic bottle pull it out empty it put it back in, pay attention on how it comes out so you will be able to replace it, may have to pull the lid holder out first.
To clear the error after changing the waste toner container on Canon C7065 Image Runner Advance, from the control panel, click on the setting/registeration button. Logon to the machine, you will need admin ID # and pin #, Once logged in pick adjustment/maintenance, on the next screen pick maintenance, then use the arrow key and chose page 2 on the next screen touch initalize after waste toner replacement.
remove the waste toner device ..and clean it ..or replace it ...after that when you put it back ..get into the maintenance menu and reset the waste ink ...and you will be ready to go ..Check the manual cause all these things are explained there ..
Hi In most cases that means that you need to clean/ replace waste toner container, but in worst case scenario: E013 Cause • Waste toner feeding motor (faulty) • Waste toner feeding screw (rotation fault) • DC controller PCB (faulty) Description 0001 The rotation speed of the waste toner feeding motor has deviated from a specific value for 0.1 sec or more (PLL signal ‘0’). 0002 The waste toner lock detection switch (SW4) has been pressed for 0.1 sec or more
although the waste container is empty still it show 'THE WASTE TONER IS FULL' cleaned the bottle neck of waste container see to it that the 2transparent round hole area is not clouded by toner .this is the sensor path it should be cleaned(remove one screw to remove transparent cap)
ok on the right side of the copier lower right cover 2 screws pakes the panel off behind it is a large plastic bottle pull it out empty it put it back in. then in this order touch these keys... add func// 2 & 8 at same time / then add func again screen should change to serv mode.. then in this order touch copier / counter / misc/ waste toner / clear /ok turn off and on good luck
There really isn't enough information given to give a proper solution. This copier has the drum light come on steady or flashing to indicate the waste toner needs to be removed. I don't know if you're a technician or not but lay people have emptied the toner cartridge instead of removing the drum, removing the cap on top of the drum, emptying the waste toner , replacing the cap on the drum, then putting the drum back into the copier. I've never had a copier keep the drum light on after doing this.
