Why won't my ZTE phone play music when using an aux cord in my car?

How are you hooking it up? If you are using a USB cord from the phone to the car, most cars cant see the phone as a music device you have to set the phone as a usb storage device and even doing that wont guarantee that the stereo can find the music.

My kenwood ddx 4038 bt I have a aux in I don't have a hdmi How can I connacht my phone. Note 4 I want a video on that i wantconort to mhl to aux in ?

You might be able to do this with a combination of devices. First, you need a MHL to HDMI adapter. Then, you need an HDMI to composite video converter; this will convert the digital signal to analog. They do not pass through content with some DRM (digital copy protection) encryptions. Then you need the AV mini cord (CA-C3AV). Most of the HDMI to composite converters that I know run on 120V AC power. You'd need to find a way to get that power from the 12V DC car battery or find a model with a 12V DC power supply. Note: the video will end up being 480i; this is the best composite video can do.

With the number of issues involved, you may be better off transferring the video off of your phone to a computer. Then put it onto a USB drive (FAT32 format) in an MPEG1, MPEG2 or DivX format.

I hope this helps.

Can't get video (have sound, not video) from Yamaha RX-V1500 v-aux jack on front of unit,I want to hook up a PS3. It will not even show video for an external portable dvd player connected to v-aux...

once you have the playstation 3 hooked check to see where you have the video aux move it around until you see video if you dont see video in any of the ports you have a faulty wiring in the wires so my recommendation for that after you do that is buy another av cord hookup

I dont understand how to play mp3 player on my kenwood cd player.I have the cord to hook it up to my kenwood radio but i dont know how to get the mp3 to play.

Just plug the cord into the front of the cd player where it says "AUX" and then plug the other end of the cord into the headphone / line out jack on any ipod or mp3 player then select "AUX" instead of CD and the sound will come through the system

I want to hook up my CD-BA2100 to my Inspiron 6000 laptop but i don't know how to hook it up or what to use.

The SHARP CD-BA2100 is a "stand-alone" cassette/CD/AM/FM player.

Its manual states that it can accept left/right stereo audio output, such as from your laptop, if you purchase the correct adapter cable (from "line-out" or "head-phones-out" on your laptop):

Video/Auxiliary (Audio signal) input

To listen to or record signals from external sources through this unit:
1 Use a separately available RCA cord to connect the desired external unit to the VIDEO/AUX jacks. (red ® right channel, white ® left channel) * When using video equipment (Laser Disc player or VCR), be sure to connect the audio output to this unit, and the video output to a television.
2 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.
3 Press the VIDEO/AUX button.
4 Operate the external unit.
5 To record the sound from the external unit ...

i.e., you can use it as the speakers for your laptop, instead of the laptop's tiny, built-in, speakers.
