I do not know if you want to replace the replace the power cord or the receptacle for the power wand?
If you need the prong for the power cord you can purchase a replacement power plug from a local hardware store and it will function and look reasonable. If you want it to look like the original factory plug you can purchase the plug from the following link for $29.56 plus shipping.
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/displayPartDetailAction.action?partNumber=4370695&productGroupId=0020&supplierId=116&mv=rr
You could also purchase the cord and retractable reel if you want to make it easier for $53.38 plus shipping by clicking on the following link.

Cords for an Eureka Oxygen 6992A

Yes, that short cord in the power nozzle can be replaced and BOTH wands should also be replaced, not just the one that appears burnt. If your locan vac shop won't fix it, contact Eureka at the customer service number on the bottom of your vacuum. They will most likely set you up with the correct parts.

Filter Queen Powerhead Not Working

is it the part where the hose connects to the wand or is where the wand connects to the power head? and what side keeps falling out. it sounds to me that its either a hose or a wand issue. unfortunatly the cord itself cannot be replaced and if the problem is a worn out connector in the hose which is possible it would require a replacement hose and if it is on the wand end it would require a new wand. either are fairly cheep on ebay. or you can possibly find one used at a local vacuum dealer. dont buy new. save yourself some money if possible.

Replacement wand for canister

Whne you had your first problem with it, the cord at the bottom probably should have replaced also, if one end gets scrotched, the other end does also. One big reason why this happens is connecting and dis-connecting the power head while power is still applied to it. When you hook your skillet and it is turned on, it will arc, so does the contacts on the hose and power head. That prong is rusty, it is scrotched. Don't know if you can substitude, you might try to find a shop that has other wands and see if you can find a fit, either that or buy the one that is supposed to be with it.

Losing power to stick/floor vacuum

if you have an extension wand, the replacement will cost about $100.00. there is a way to repair both the pwr-cord on the brush assemble and the wand, but it depends on how much damage there is. also you need to check the contacts where the wand connects with the handle, and the prongs on the handle.

let me know if you still need help
